Comics I miss her sash
It was so iconic to her and made her sihoullete instantly recognizable. I love her jacket look but it would be way cooler with the sash

i know a lot of people who don’t read her comics think that she has a cap to what she can absorb but she simply doesn’t, it’s moreso the time constraint on how long it takes for her to absorb and how long it takes for her to be affected.
i’ve seen stupid debates that if she absorbs too much she’ll explode and that simply just isn’t true and it’s beyonce hilarious

I think Carol would lend very well to a cosmic horror series.

Pretty worried myself ngl. People still bring up Civil War and Zdarsky literally had WW argue to spare Hitler's life, of all things. Let alone Colton, the sad OC traumatized by his own Iraq war crimes, and all the rest. Feel like there's all the elemnts for her to get cooked.

The women can’t resist Matt 💀I guess Elektra is chopped liver

Matt is notoriously a bad love interest and his writers have historically had a good number of his love interests be “trophies”. Everything else seemed pretty good but this is kinda giving me a major ick.
I don’t like this how this is looking.
What do y’all think? I might be overreacting or reaching here I feel like 😭

So I’m currently watching all the movies in the MCU and the marvels is my next movie, but I haven’t seen the Ms. Marvel series or secret invasion. So do I have to watch those shows to understand the movie? Because I really don’t wanna sit through 2 shows just to watch a movie.

Marvel explained this quite clearly. Most heroes possess only a single, defining ability. Hulk is the strongest, but he can't fly and, compared to others, isn't particularly intelligent, fast, or resilient. Carol, on the other hand, possesses the combined abilities of all the Avengers. She is strong, fast, resilient, intelligent, and can fly. This gives writers the ability to use her for any conceivable type of storytelling. This means they can tell everything from street-level stories to cosmic adventures with Carol without having to fundamentally change her character.
This is about the method of storytelling, since ink on paper has no measurable value. When a character destroys a sun, it's a narrative metaphor the author uses to describe an action in the story to the reader. Thor is portrayed by the writers as exceptionally resilient. Tony is consistently depicted as extremely intelligent. Steve is portrayed as a particularly capable leader. Carol possesses the combined abilities of ALL the Avengers, which is why she is Earth's Mightiest Hero.
The classic clashes between Hulk and Thor are narratively the metaphor of hammer and anvil. Hulk is the hammer because he is the strongest, while Thor, as the most resilient, is the anvil. And Carol is the all-rounder among the heroes.

So basically my plan is read her run as Captain Marvel starting from KSD to the current one in Avenger's Armageddon. So, what book should I read? Should I skip over 2016? I'm interested in Ultimates, and I know she stars a lot in Avengers Books or should I just jump straight to Thompson and then Alyssa Wong?

To elaborate more, what story from the character’s history, in a 3-movie arc, could bring a lot more people to the character?
You can bring up anything:
-any comic that hasn’t been done before on screen.
Example: Batman: Knightfall itself. (Like The Dark Knight Rises did the breaking of Batman with Bane, but nothing else.)
-any comic that has been done before, but you want it to be done better or done justice.
Example: Thor: God of Thunder
Or just a mix of A lot of stories into a run trilogy that could bring people into a character-defining trilogy.
I love to hear what people suggest.
I’d also love to hear what animation style this hypothetical trilogy would use, so it isn’t just the Knightfall art style.
I love to hear what everyone brings to the table!

I love when she's with the other big ladies of Marvel
