I think she’s a pretty little lady, but my fiancé thinks she’s a silly little baby. What do you think? 🤔

Hi everyone! My best friend found a little baby void in his wall and is looking for name suggestions - any good ideas?

Edit: Told my friend about this post so he can tell the story since so many people want to know exactly what happened and he posted it in the comments! :D

adopted right before his 10th birthday! this distinguished creature is Igor

My baby turned 17 this weekend! I let her eat as many treats as she wanted for 2 mins. She only has 6 teeth but she made the most of those 2 minutes. She's in fantastic health (despite an occasional UTI) and just got a purrfect-score at her 6-month Senior Checkup.

EDIT TO ADD...there's a video: https://www.tiktok.com/@pasdedoom/video/7669225079913450782

Think he looks pretty stylish and his medication patch is like a badge on his jacket. He’s recovering beautifully from surgery on both legs.

Edit - Ok didn’t expect this post to be popular. Thank you for all the well wishes. Thank you for all the belly laughs. And thanks for the awards.

He is being such a good boy. Behaving himself, accepting of every pat and stroke with a purr and is super chilled out.

It’s winter here, but never truly cold although we are keeping an eye on his comfort and he has access to plenty of blankets and one of my hoodies to cuddle up to.

I’ll post some progress pics as his fur grows back - the thickness of his coat - my finger width on his back - was really surprising.

Edit 2 - The patch with writing on his shoulder is a fentanyl patch that contacts directly to his skin.

Edit 3 - for clarification, his name is Winston.

Edit - He is doing very well. Eating, drinking, pooping, purring like a champion. He is completely ignoring his stitches. He is demanding of love and pats as ever and getting as much as wants before he gets a little too stimulated. Thanks again for all the comments, well wishes and laughs. Never thought a funny pic of my boy would gain so much interest. 🖤

Ours is Lily "Fuzzo" Onyx Marshall.

Edit: Wow, the replies are an explosion of black floofs! You guys have some seriously awesome names. I managed to upvote everyone lol

Edit 2: Void names and pics still coming in on the daily a week later! This is the best! 😊

This is Miles.

This is Gryffin. He is 13 years old screams like a banshee and is the first cat I’ve ever seen drift (he has no idea where his back legs are from a injury when he was a kitten) and he, also well, he looks like that.

this is button!

My cat was diagnosed with sarcoma on his nose almost two years ago. After surgery and treatment, he's cancer free and living a normal life.

He's weird, clingy, lazy, soft and very smart (but also very dumb) and I am so, so lucky he's still here with me. 🖤

EDIT: That's a lot of comments and I can't keep up, but thanks for the love for my boy (his name is Jimmy btw)! To those of you who have pets going through something similar, hang in there and I'm rooting for all of you.

Just found out my baby girl is quite rare ( ◜‿◝ )♡

The gene for black fur is on the X chromosome, and males (XY) only need one copy of the gene to be black, while females (XX) need two, making it statistically easier for a male to be solid black.

Similar to how most orange cats are male, black cats tend to follow a similar pattern where males are more common, though not to the same extreme.

Every day I come home from work and my cat sit on my lap and stares at me like this. He looks mad but he's purring.

Recent break up after 2.5 years. In need of a little mood boost, please send me your fav pics of your kitty 🫶🐈‍⬛

Edit to add: Thank you all so much for all of the pictures, it truly means so much, I’m obsessed with all of them 😭💌

She waits by his bedroom….
