Seeking validation, sorry...
I'm 4 weeks into my first beard. Should I continue? There are more grey whiskers than I read expecting 😁

Update to my last post.
So previously I was asking for advice for the awkward transition between a shorter and longer beard. I didn't really explain my self very well as I posted immediately prior to my maintenance trim at the barber, with a view to growing out long. As a result everyone was like wtf dude that's not awkward, looks great. And I appreciate it.
For context, I am in the dubiously privileged position of having recently undergone surgery - so I am taking the opportunity of not being able to go out or have to interact with strangers, look professional at work etc. - to let it go feral for as long as possible and see what it can be capable of. Anyone who grew a Covid beard can probably relate.
Now, however, it has been around 50 days since that last trim and I have barely touched it apart from one scissor clean up of the 'tache a couple weeks ago as it was all in about my business, and the neckline a few times once it was out of hand (been lazy with it more than anything). The cheeklines have always ended up getting trimmed too low, and I have left them completely for the duration since the trim. They are higher than they will be ideally once it gets shaped up, but I want to let them go as long as possible to see what the terminal height looks like before dealing with them.
Anyway it is starting to get out of control again and I am looking for advice/motivation to keep it going. I had a planned barber visit for the end of October however I cancelled it as I can't really deal with the stairs and I have a few more weeks of being unable to walk so I may as well leave it wild for a bit longer. Any recommendations for sticking out the awkward phase and what the ideal goal should be would be cool as I haven't let it go this far before and I am trying not to trim it out of frustration.
First set of pics are in the natural state when I get up after washing etc.
Second pics are having blow dried and straightened out a bit using my GF's Airwrap, and I think this is the only way I can cope with it going forward. I'm hoping consistent use will help tame it into accepting the gravity and getting the majority of the kinking to fuck.
Third pics are from my last post immediately after the last trim. On my return to civilised society I will be looking at maintaining this shape, faded sides tapering into a ducktail/Kratos style, but I want to increase the overall length and volume of the beard as I usually pussy out long before this stage due to looking unkempt, but would like to see what potential there is.
Thanks and much love.

28m this is about 3 months growth with maybe 3 trims in that time. I usually use a 12mm trimmer head. I am open suggestions on how to make this look as good as possible. Disregard the hairline

28m- I've been growing out my beard for a couple weeks now. I'm looking at letting it grow more for the whole month of November. Last pics are reference how I keep it usually. Any tips? Should I get it lined up now or do a little clean up to have it grow more evenly? I'm wanting to see how I'll look with my beard a few inches longer

I've obviously trimmed it up and tried to keep it neat. Hair will grow longer of course but doesn't get any denser. Thoughts? 26 years old.

Hey fellow redditors, Its my first time trying to grow it out but something tells me it would not work on me as I have very low volume and the hairs are thin and also some areas are patchy. Should I wait a few more weeks or should I trim it out? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, any tips on what to do regarding my beard shaping? Should I go higher on the neck line, I feel like it may be low… also should I shape the sides differently? And should I shave the cheek areas (and how much)

I see some Bald patches that really annoy me, and in some light my skin beneath is very visible

So I posted last night about having my sides to poofy and my hair curling I used a hot brush for the first time I know it takes awhile but it seems less dense and long after using it idk definitely probably overthinking I’ll stick to this routine twice a week maybe and see if it starts to lay down more, using honest Amish oil and balm anyone recommend a different product or beard wash I have the cheap Everyman jack and I don’t think it works good for me thinking of trying the honest Amish soap too just to see if that helps it more. Appreciate all my fellow beards, and the advice from yesterday.

How can I make my beard appear fuller and thicker, first time growing my beard so hit me with all the advice. I am 20 years old if that changes anything.

I turned 17 4 months ago and I’m wondering if I stand any chance of growing a full beard and mustache, my father has a very thick and full bear, aswell as my soon to be 20 year old brother, he hit puberty in 7th grade while I hit it in 10th and he’s been able to grow a decent beard since about 16-17, my chin used to have practically nothing 12 months ago

My wife wants me to grow a beard for our wedding next September. I’m about a month in. I have kept my face shaved for the last four years because I used to pull my beard hairs and gave myself patches, so I only kept my mustache, which I would let grow out and shave occasionally.
The first picture is from about 4 or 5 years ago when I got my first cleanup at a barber, and a couple of others are from when I let it do its thing. The last few photos are from today. How do you think I am doing? Do I have the potential for a good beard? Sorry for the bad pictures of my face!

This is how my beard looks from both sides. Each side is different , should i grow it out will the patch cover up or not. I have been using minxoidil for the past 2 years the beard is still the same as it was on the first day

Will the area in the middle of my moustache ever fill out? I feel it looks stupid with the gap (I’m 33 btw)
