New build vs. older panel block

Hi everyone,

If you were planning to sell in 10 years to buy something bigger, would you go for a new developer build or an older panel block (wielka płyta)? I'm currently looking at around 50 m² in Łódź. I'd love to hear your arguments!

REVSEAT

Does anyone have any experience with the online store www.revseat.pl ? I ordered a chair from them over a week ago, and there has been absolutely no communication from their side. They aren't responding to emails or phone calls. Could this be a scam?

Hi everyone! I’ll be in Kudowa-Zdrój from October 26–29 for a business trip. What are some interesting places, towns, or attractions worth visiting nearby? I’m open to driving into the Czech Republic as well. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Anyone has a 1 week itinerary for Poland? (or is this too long)

As the header reads.

I’m intending to travel to Poland for a week in the first or second week of December. Will be flying over from the UK. Looking for a fun, 1-person solo itinerary.

I’m not really a hiking or whatever guy, but I would love to try out authentic Polish food, check out the notable attractions available and just “explore what makes Poland, Poland” in that 1 week.

Budget wise - not sure how much is considered adequate, but let’s start with 1-1.5k pounds first?

Hej, chcialbym opisac pewna historie, ktora mi sie przydarzyla. Niestety, z czasem zaczely sie jakies klotnie miedzy nami. Gadalem z nia jakos 3/4h dziennie czesto nawet wiecej. Jak byla u mnie to ja usypialem, calowalem, no wrecz jej uslugiwalem. Jakis czas pozniej, zaczelo sie jakies dziwne ponizanie mnie. Oczywiscie, odradzalem majac ku temu powody. Gosc byl najzwyczajniej zboczony. Zabronilem jej wrecz sie z nim spotykac, ona nie posluchala. Dlatego sie do niej dobieral i ogolnie byl obrzydliwy. Ostatecznie juz u niej grzeja.

Need some insight not sure how to phrase it

Back story . I’m in the United States however I am undocumented. I am single ,29 . I been here since age 8. I had daca but lost it due to picking up a misdemeanor charge . There is likely no path for me to renew daca wth current administration. I have a grandpa who lives in Lomza Poland and has offered to let me stay with him . In my current situation I have to look for cash jobs . Life has been super stressful . I do have a welding certification no college degree . Would moving back to Poland in a small city as a polish citizen really be that much worse than living in the states as an undocumented immigrant , with no path for legalization ? I speak and read and write fluent polish *

Car seat purchase

Hello, I am moving to Poland from overseas in a few months. I was wondering where I can purchase a car seat for my 2 year old once we arrive at the Gdansk airport? Bonus if you know how it can be delivered to the airport… are there parcel lockers nearby?

NAWA Scholarship - Please Share Your Story

Hi!

Please share your experience with the NAVA scholarship. I'm especially looking for stories from foreigners who studied in English.

I'm interested in the language requirements/priorities regarding language level.
Does level really matter? I mean, does it increase your chances of admission if you have higher level?

What language test did you take and does it matter? Like IELTS, TOEFL etc.

Help with Chomikuj.pl

Hi everyone! 😊

I was wondering if there’s anyone here living in Poland who might be able to help me out with something.

I’m trying to download a movie from Chomikuj.pl, a Polish file-hosting site, but unfortunately, downloading the file requires credits. Since I live abroad, I’m unable to top up my account because the available payment methods require either a Polish phone number or a Polish bank account, neither of which I have.

I’d really appreciate it if someone in Poland could help me get the file. Of course, I’d be happy to cover the cost and send the money via PayPal!

I know it’s a bit of an unusual request, but I thought I’d ask here in case someone could lend a hand. It would mean a lot to this cinephile! ❤️🎬

Thanks so much for reading, and I really appreciate any help!

Visiting Poland with a family member who uses an electric wheelchair. How accessible is it?

Hi everyone!

I'm considering a family trip to Poland and would love to hear some first-hand experiences regarding accessibility. Warsaw and Kraków are the two places I'm most interested in, given their history, architecture and cultural attractions, but I'm open to other destinations too, such as Wrocław or Gdańsk, if they might be easier to navigate.

From what I've read so far, Poland seems to have made progress with accessible public transport and major museums, although I'm aware that historic city centres can be a different story, especially when it comes to cobblestones, kerbs and older buildings.

One of my family members uses an electric wheelchair, so I'm trying to understand what visiting these cities would actually be like in practice:

Are the main historic areas and tourist attractions reasonably accessible?

How difficult are the pavements and streets for an electric wheelchair?

Can you get around comfortably, visit cafés and restaurants, and enjoy the cities without having to plan absolutely everything in advance?

Between Warsaw, Kraków and other Polish cities, which would you recommend most for someone with reduced mobility?

We've travelled together to places with accessibility issues before, and while it's possible, it can sometimes make the experience more stressful for everyone. I'm hoping to find a destination where we can enjoy the history and atmosphere without accessibility becoming a constant challenge.

Our itinerary is still flexible, so I'd really appreciate any honest advice, personal experiences or suggestions. I'm particularly interested in the reality on the ground rather than just official accessibility information.

Thanks so much for your help!

Real estate agent fee

Hi! What is considered a normal real eatate agent's fee (in percentage, VAT included) in Warsaw? They should represent us as seller, would be an exclusive agent, must make photos, list the property, lead potential buyers, communicate with them. The property is a small old apartment.Thank you!

The Problen with Online Shopping

We have more choices online than ever before.

So why is finding the right product still so frustrating?

You open one marketplace. Then another. You compare prices, check specifications, scroll through dozens of listings, and still wonder whether a better offer is out there.

The problem isnt always a lack of options.

Sometimes, Its having too many options and not enough clarity.
Thats one of the proplems we’re exploring with Lowca: helping people find products that match their needs and spot promising offers without spending hours searching.

Because smarter shopping shouldnt require a second job.

Whats most frustrating part of buying something online for you?

Addressing letters and postcards to family and friends

Do you use the title “Sz. P.” when addressing letters? Technically, it’s a polite form of address, but it feels strange to use it when writing to your brother or your mum. “Dear Sir/Madam” or “Dear Sirs” seems overly formal for someone so close to you. How do you usually address letters and postcards?
