Zootopia Fanfiction Thread (October 2026)
18
Upvotes
Welcome to the Monthly Fanfiction Thread!
Review some fanfics that you've read, promote your favourites, promote your own.
Please format your comment as follows
- [Title] by [author name]
- Post a link to the first chapter of the story or the relevant chapter
- Post the summary/synopsis provided by the author
- Eventual review
Repeats from prior months are allowed. A good story can be discussed for quite some time, and there are always new readers around.
Please use the spoiler tag for any discussion regarding specific story details. Spoiler tags aren't necessary for general discussion ("The character progression is really amazing!").
How to add a spoiler tag:
Place any spoiler text between a set of these marks >! spoiler !<
For example,
>!It turns out the protagonist was dreaming the whole time!!<will show as it turns out the protagonist was dreaming the whole time!
You are welcome to post your own work!
The comments are sorted newer to older by default. Use CTRL + F to find the fanfic you are looking to discuss; if it isn't there, feel free to add it. I'd also appreciate if you could tag spoilers when posting your discussion. Perhaps start your thread with the chapter number (if your story has one) and then hide the discussion in spoilers, that way we don't accidentally spoil something for someone.
The rules and formatting are decided by you, simply message the OP.
The wiki has an archive full of fanfictions!
There's a master list, a Hall of Fame with the selected few best fanfictions, and then there's a list separated by genre.
Congratulations to u/BCRE8TVE and u/BunnyMakingAMark for the tremendous work that they've done for that article! Everyone is welcome to contribute, fix mistakes, fix broken links, and even fix typos.
To submit a missing fanfic there, follow the Submission page

Art Two Partners - [Cò Lõ]
226
Upvotes
Art done by Cò Lõ on Facebook with their character catching these partners hanging out (or doing undercover work it looks like). The original post:
"No AI involved at all, these are 100% REAL... straight out of Cò's dreams last night 😳
NGL, I’d rather give up boba tea for a whole month than stop shipping these two!!! 😤💘
I swear if Disney drops Part 2 and still dares to call them just “partners”, I’m literally pulling up to their HQ with banners!!!
If you're on this ship, get in here ASAP! We absolutely cannot let this sink, you get me?! 😭"

A Tour in the City - [Cò Lõ]
149
Upvotes
It seems they joined Nick and Judy on a trip around the city's districts. You can check the original post by Cò Lõ here over on Facebook:
"Nobody asked, but I voluntarily headed all the way over to hunt down Nick & Judy and make them give me a tour around every district in Zootopia. But ngl, things got a little flirty between them thoughhh
Saying they’re "just partners" while being practically glued to each other 24/7 makes... literally zero sense, hellooo Disneyyyy!
But yall gotta admit, every single location in Zootopia is drop-dead gorgeous right? It'd be even more gorgeous if our OTP finally sails safely into the canon harbor hihi. Can't wait for it to hit theaters!!!
Oh, and don't forget #DisneyShipLiềnĐi"

I always found Pawbert more Shocking compared to bellwether due to Pawbert feeling as though he has less motive and he has more time to be seen being evil than bellwether

I never expected Judy to be so hard to draw...
Here's some art featuring the characters of my favorite ship referencing my favorite game. I had an idea that wouldn't leave my mind until I drew it. And yes, I do want to make a fanfic out of it. Drawing I can't do, but writing is basically effortless B)
Hope you like it nonetheless!

Discussion Honestly I think I’d like to see Nick and Gary become buddies
•
Upvotes
I mean I know they didn’t exactly have the best start but given Nick’s history I think Gary could sympathize with him due to him being misjudged as a snake and maybe they could be buddies and he could be like their equivalent to Perrito from puss in boots the last wish don’t get me wrong I love his interactions with Judy but I’d like to see him interact with Gary more but that’s just me
I’d like to know what you guys think?
