How can i fix this? i only have 3 mods installed but none works, all installed via The Witcher 3 Mod Manager and ran the the script merger to see if no conflicts were detected, it's the steam version, and Enable Mods option on REDLaucher enabled too

How hard would it be to make a mod that replaces one of the game's sword models with the model of Raiden's Metal Gear Rising sword? These are two of my favorite games, and I'd love to transmog my steel sword into Raiden's so I can rock it alongside Aerondight.

I have no experience modding, so please let me know your thoughts.

I'm really happy for anyone enjoying the new skills from the Remaster, but as a console gamer and someone whose favourite version of the game was v4.04, it frustrates me that I don't have the option to go back to how the game was with the Next-gen update.

Honestly, I just want Heightened Tolerance, Acquired Tolerance and Delayed Recovery back to how they were before (and maybe the option to disable immersive meditation, but that's a different subject).

As someone with no knowledge about how mods really work, is this even possible?

Up to 71 as of today!!! And REALLY good/popular ones, from new voiced quest lines to hair/beards and weapons to armor retextures and a ton more.

Those like me, waiting for decent ones and earning achievements til then… it’s looking like it’s time. SUPER recommend the quest mod Tales of the Witcher: Cintra - five hours of new quest - but look through all of them! Most mods are voiced as well, a few aren’t, but every single one is quality.

Just in time for me finding Ciri : ) coming back after 11 years has been amazing, but this is a new level.

Anyone recommend not installing them given I’m midway through a playthrough?

I am trying to mod this game but I think I messed up bad. When installing script merger to the Witcher 3 mod manager I accidentally added script merger to redprelauncher.exe instead of thewitcher3.exe.

How do you fix this? I have deleted everything game included and reinstalled there were no mods in mod manager and it’s still not letting me set up everything it still has everything saved when I screwed up is there anyone that can help?

I’m experiencing the following bug: Only Geralt’s head is visible, and my inventory is completely empty. All my potions, decoctions, and oils are gone as well.
The bug occurs with mods both enabled and disabled. I’ve also verified the integrity of the game files through Steam, but that didn’t fix the issue.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Anyone aware of mods or ways to bring a bit of balance into the extra slots build?

Obviously it's pretty op but I like being able to have a combat/sign/alchemy max build, but it would be great to be a little more balanced. I switched to death march and that helped a little but not enough.

Do these mods work with remastered, or are they even relevant? I'm thinking of picking this game up before the new DLC drops. If not, have the authors said anything about updating them? I haven't found anything online regarding this.

Is there a mod that makes the armor look dirtier? or at least the underneath white shirt? I think it looks "too clean" for my taste and the black dye ruins the whole aesthethic of the armor in my opinion.

There's a "dirtier manticore" mod on Nexus but it's almost 10 years old and the textures look a bit old.

Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone has seen this before because I’m completely stuck.

I’m playing The Witcher 3 Remastered on Steam, about 70 hours into a playthrough, level 26. Everything was working fine when I stopped playing. The next day I loaded my save and most of my inventory was gone — all my armor, weapons, food, potions and mutagens had vanished. Geralt himself doesn’t render properly either, I just see his head floating on a stick with the lantern from a mod still attached where his belt would be.

The weird part is that it’s selective. All my quest items are still there, every single one. Some random items survived too. But anything equipable or consumable is gone.

Here’s what I’ve already tried, none of it helped:

• Loading older saves, including ones from several sessions back. Every single save has the exact same problem
• Disabling all my mods by renaming the mods folder, then also turning off the in-game mod menu mods (Hoods, Blood Trails, Fast Travel Pack). No change at all
• Verifying game file integrity through Steam. First attempt finished in three seconds and did nothing, second attempt ran properly but found no issues
• Checking that all DLC are ticked in Steam properties. They all are
• Renaming dx12user.settings, profile.settings and input.settings so the game would regenerate them. No change
• Fast travelling to a different region to force a reload of the character model. No change
• Running Script Merger, which reported no conflicts

Starting a brand new game works perfectly. Geralt has his body, the inventory behaves normally. So the installation itself seems fine, it’s specifically my existing saves that break.

Some context that might matter. I had been running these mods for a while without any issues: Smells Like E3Clouds, Better Candles Remastered, Wearable Lantern, Glowing Eyes, Hairstyle Previews, Gallop Anywhere, Always Full EXP, Deaths Reworked, Bugfixed Fast Travel and Close Roach. A week or so before this happened I installed and then removed The Living Continent along with ReShade, because it cost me too much performance. The last patch was October 8th, so this isn’t a fresh update breaking things.

One more thing, my Documents folder syncs to OneDrive and the account was full at one point, which left the gamesaves folder showing sync errors. I cleared space and it syncs fine now, but I don’t know if that damaged something. Although if OneDrive had corrupted the saves I’d expect them to not load at all rather than load with half the inventory missing.

Has anyone run into this? Is there any way to recover what’s in the save, or am I starting over? Any help appreciated.

Hi fellow Witchers - has anyone heard or found a new updated version of the mod Extended Bestiary? It basically extends the in-game Bestiary to include monsters from previous games. I liked the feature and hope someone can put in the Remastered.

Anyone know if there are any mods out there that might come to console that remove the level requirement on items? Hate having to wait to wear all the cool Witcher gear.

If you're gonna complain about people modding their game, especially the remaster of witcher 3 which added modding to console, something people wanted for a long time? You're being a bully for no reason.

Let people play the game however they wanna play. Iv seen people mod to make the game so hard you die in one hit, or more enemies spawm. Yellow mutagen for stamina for the "you're a Wizard harry" playthrough, and more, leave people alone and let them play.

I noticed that trophies are disabled, but will this affect my ability to play Songs of the Past on this save with mods?

If so, I’d rather play without mods to keep it on one save.
