We went into this one with no scouting at all, just parked and walked in. It turned out to be one of the most complete houses I’ve explored.
Some highlights:

As always, nothing was taken and everything was left as we found it. Happy to answer any questions.

Hi guys I’m a masters student of architecture and upon doing a site survey in London I came across this half buried structure.
It is located in Cranley gardens, parkland walk (north) where a railway used to be until 1957.
I would really like to know what it is, I can’t find any information on it! If I am posting in the wrong community, please sign post me to the right one. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I did go inside this one, but it was so decrepit that I couldn't go very far. A piece of metal actually fell from the upper floor shortly after I entered and I decided this wasn't one I could get very far in. I couldn't find much info on the building either.

This place is absolutely massive and a total maze. These are photos from 2024, I used to stop by here pretty often because I always found something new. I did a deep dive on the property in '24, and if I remember correctly; it used to be a multi-use space for artists, mechanics, and even some office workers. It was severely damaged in a fire and the city bought the property as a teardown and kicked everyone out, even though a large portion of the building was salvageable. Fast forward to 15 years later, and it's been sitting completely abandoned and rotting since the purchase. People theorize that the city just wanted to get the artists out of this cheap-to-rent space, so they could bulldoze it and throw up some overpriced condos instead. Still hasn't happened.
Last pic is of my favorite room - It's completely loaded with desks and chairs that said artists and office workers were using. There are even some drafting tables. There was a similar room filled with lockers and cabinets, but I can't find the pic.
I'm an avid urban explorer and I love learning about the history of the places I pop into. I just fixed up my terabyte drive, so hopefully I can post some more pics soon!

Part of the hospital where virologist Hilary Koprowski conducted an early clinical trial of an experimental live-virus polio vaccine on 20 disabled children. The trial showed positive antibody responses, though it drew swift public and professional debate over the choice of subjects.
These children did not have polio; they were given the weakened live virus intentionally to test if it would trigger an immune response. Seventeen of the children developed antibodies against polio (the other three already had them), and none experienced complications or illness from the trial itself, though Koprowski faced heavy ethical criticism for his choice of subjects.
This was also the only place in all my years of exploring that I felt I experienced a paranormal event. Still brings me chills to this day. Photo taken in 2016, New York State.

On this day in 2012, I made my first of many visits to the long abandoned Muskoka Regional Centre, also known as "The San"
What's crazy is, in 2012, when I first went, the location had already been closed for 18 years.
The first online record of explorers being here was in February 2006, 12 years after it closed down in 1994.
At that time, it was noted by these first early explorers that the location had not been touched by vandals and had not likely ever been visited by other urban explorers.
The San is now considered a rite of passage for explorers, photographers and enthusiasts of the hobby.
Since this first visit in 2012, I've returned three more times

Unfortunately, the house has already collapsed and can therefore no longer be entered. The barn, however, was quite interesting. Along with an excavator and a few tractors, there was a whole lot of other agricultural equipment inside. All in all, this farmstead is quite lovely. Even though getting in was a bit tricky, it was well worth it.

Long time follower first time poster. A friend and I have been driving through the mountains of southern Japan and just so happened to come across this magnificent find. From what we gather this was abandoned sometime around February 2023. It was left in almost perfect condition with a couple things moved around. Sorry some of the pictures aren't that great - the sun was setting as we found this place so we didn't have much time in the sunlight. I'm not going to give a specific location as I've seen what happens to places that get publicized but some of you sleuths will likely be able to find it.
Side note : this felt very serendipitous because not one hour prior we were both talking about this subreddit and how amazing it would be to find a place to explore.

This is not an abandoned location but the vast property filled with old rusted automobiles makes it for a very popular destination for photographers!
Anyone can go, just bring along $10 and maybe a couple of coffees for the owners who are almost always out in the garage working on a car!
