Hey everyone,

Recently I bought a brand new sealed CD copy of Two Worlds online from a record store. A couple of days after receiving it, I stumbled across a detail on Discogs mentioning that the first batch (100 copies) sent out by Run For Cover were actually mispressed and unmastered.

Supposedly, you can tell it’s this version because all the tracks are noticeably lower in volume and every single track starts with a drumstick count-in before the music kicks in.

Curious, I popped my CD in and gave every track a careful listen, and sure enough, low volume and drumstick count-ins across the board. I somehow randomly ended up with one of those first 100 mispressed copies! Did not expect to accidentally grab a rare piece of the band's history like that haha.

The whole reason I bought this CD in the first place is that Tigers Jaw is coming to the Philippines for the first time on November 6th, and I wanted to pick up my very first physical album of theirs ahead of the show!

Does anyone else here happen to have this mispress in their collection, or know any more background on how these got sent out back then?

I watched it very closely (as close as possible) and it was fantastic. As a fan who has known and listened to the band since 2013, I never imagined that I would see them so close, even more so in Brazil. Definitely one of the best days of my life and I still got the setlist written by Brianna and signed by Ben. ❤️‍🔥

They're awesome!!!

This concert definitely ranks among the best shows I've ever attended. I cried a lot, but it was beautiful.

It almost tops last year's "Cap'n Jazz" show. (English isn't my first language, sorry)

Deserved to be on my whiteboard above my bed :)

is anyone here going to the brisbane show next month? let me know 😸

Hi! Im trying to find accurate guitar tabs for this song or if anyone has a video of them playing it that I could see. thanks!!

I saw TJ live last night, at Bogotá’s gig. Teddy threw the handwritten setlist to the public and I was able to catch it in the air. Then Ben signed it for me.

This is the coolest piece of memorabilia I got from a band so far. I wonder if the setlist was written by one of the band’s members or someone from their staff.

prefer it to be listed on depop but i’m open to other sites. size medium

I’ve been looking a while for an old band started by the members of Tigers Jaw sometime in the mid 2000s called Jewish War Veterans, and I figured here would be my next best bet. I’ve been able to recover 1 song of theirs (I’m not sure how many they actually made), a cover of Evander by Title Fight, which you can find here. You can also find a link to their last fm page here, and their old, defunct MySpace page here. Unfortunately, none of the songs from MySpace are available because of a massive data loss in 2018. If you have anything else regarding this band, please let me know.

I feel like I'm going crazy with this, I have a clear recollection of a music video being released for Make It Up around late 2018 early 2019 (so quite a while after spin's initial release) of the band just messing around playing football (/soccer). Looking online for it I've been able to find nothing. Anyone else remember this or did I just imagine it?

Just wanted to say that TJ has to be the of the best bands in the world these days. They don't miss at all. Ever.

Vibes were unreal 😭 I love Tigers Jaw & my country, Philadelphia.

Shout out to Love City and 4333 Collective for an unreal experience.

Flycatcher was incredible as well, can't forget them!

it was april in hamden ct and I had purchased a ticket for a buddy and I. Recently both our lives had been on a decline, he had recently attempted suicide and I had gotten out of a 3 year long relationship (not really comparable, he was doing much worse than I, but we were both doing bad). I drove us there and not gonna lie the whole ride there I was sweating balls praying to god that my tickets weren’t fake. Getting there we pre gamed with a cart bc we are stupid little teenagers. we both had thrifted funny outfits for the concert the night before. getting out of the car after the sesh and bursting out into laughter because he just looked so funny and loved that dude to death. I see the bassist of tigers jaw just staring us down and I felt so embarrassed because I never imaged to see a dude that cool when having such a vulnerable moment. we had gotten there really early because we knew it was gonna get packed so we wanted to get into line early to get close to the stage. Ended up getting moshed out of it but it whatever, it was worth it.

The openers were really cool I loved gutter girl by hot flash heat wave it reminded be of kilby girl.
But nothing compared to Tigers Jaw. The setlist felt like it was crafted by a 5 star restaurant making their menu for the president of the goddam united states of america. I cried, laughed, moshed, cried some more, sang my heart out. I felt the air in my chest and it definitely was better than what i was standing on. concert came to a close and I never hugged my buddy so tight man. It felt like every emotion from the concert was channeled into that hug. and we never hug. It was definitely a life changing experience. I wish I had gotten better merch but I had to settle with two vinyls and a sticker. Definitely wish I got a CD because i love CDs now.

Post concert definitely cried a little bit but nonetheless made the drive home still playing tigers jaw. Went to bed and woke up missing that concert. Definitely going to another one asap.

Now it’s 5 months later and I have constant dreams about the concert and going back. I find myself day dreaming about the concert and going to another one. It’s always on my mind, I forget what i’m doing half the time because I lose myself in thought about tigers jaw. It’s not just the concert as well, there music speaks to me in a way no one could ever. I’m obsessed in every way. I’m sick with it and I don’t want a cure, and I want is more tigers jaw.

such a cool band.

I stumbled upon Tigers Jaw last week. I’ve been listening to ‘Lost On You’ on repeat. Which album should I listen to next?

I'm not really into indie, I love radiohead, I'm a metalhead, into prog, thrash, black metal, death metal, doom metal, nu metal.

I'm going through depression and anxiety for a few years now, and going through another acute depressive episode for a few days now.

Last night I randomly put the self-titled album, 'tigers jaw' cuz I liked the pizza cover and band name, and it blew my mind away. I felt like my insides are speaking to me, giving me hope that I'm not alone and I believed just like this album/band 'appeared' to me just at the right time, good things will fall into place someday.

Last time a band had this effect on me was linkin park a few years ago when I was going through a breakup.

Thank you Tigers Jaw, you might've just saved don't know how many lives cuz I'm a doctor, mine as well as my future patients!

Whenever I listen it I just feel something I quite name, the same happens when I try to interpret the lyrics and oddly, I don't know what it means.

been one of my favourite Tigers Jaw songs for a bit. just searching it up it comes up with a baseball player. I doubt it's him. Maybe a friend of the band?

First batch of the three preorder batches from the first press in 2009. 1/40.

Truly a grail.

Just wanted to share, such a cool addition to the collection 🐅 🐯 🐅
