I have close to 11 hours in the game, and had yet to even catch a glimpse of the the reaper leviathan until now when I was trying to find my base. I had been actively avoiding really carrying on in the game and really taking my time because I’ve been so scared to face it. Does it get closer to you as time goes on?

Most of the nexus mods right now are just AI slop.

Title. What if they combined Subnatica 1 & BZ into a single game? I feel it would be amazing. Maybe even an attachment that lets you mount the Seamoth to the Seatruck. I played 1 for the first time very recently & I’m almost done with BZ now but I keep thinking BZ would have been an awesome DLC. BZ is the weaker of the two but still good. I’d pay full price for a “definitive edition anniversary edition.” I can’t believe I never played these until know. Subnatica 1 is a masterpiece

Sorry for the generic post but just curious. I usually do a vehicle-less run and carry extra tanks which is the speedrun strategy, but it makes the game way too easy and go by super fast. So now I'm trying to play it normally again without extra tanks, but can only use the prawn suit which I've never tried before. I'm thinking the grassy plateue for my starter base but no ideas after that. What's everyone else doing? I need more ideas lol.

This is my first playthrough of Subnautica. 45 hours in I'm at the stage of exploring the Lost River biome and found the Tree Cove by chance. The first time I landed my prawn suit somewhere there and went exploring for nickel and uranite. I overextend thinking my prawn suit is nearby but in the end panic and couldn't find it. Lol I thought it was my fault as sometimes I just couldnt find my seamoth even it's parked in front of me.

Second time round I deliberately park my prawn suit in front of the majestic tree and went diving in the blue waters. FML I did not save. 30 seconds oxygen reminder I came up and my prawn suit is lost. This time, I even search my beacon for it and couldnt find my prawn suit in the list. Wtf what happened?

Who knows how, or why this happened?

I feel like Ishould have an alien containment by now, but haven't found any fragments/blueprints.

Was talking to someone on stream about what it would take to build a working Seamoth.
I think it's doable as long as it stays in the shallows.

But we did hit on a question: There's no clear way the Seamoth is able to turn on it's own.
Maybe there's hidden thrusters on the wings?🤔

I’m currently on a mega-construction run with a massive goal: building a continuous base infrastructure that physically enters every biom in the game. And now unity is dying when it try to calculate all structures. Is it count in challange if I install Performance Booster and maaaayby Fabulous Optimization.
