For those unfamiliar with my project, Back to the Past is my remaster of Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack series.

I've recently completed the first episode and received quite a few messages from folks interested in the project.

Here's an example comparing the official 1080p Blu-ray to my restoration project. Included is the same frame from the Special Edition DVDs, which I'm using for color grading.

To learn more, please send me a PM. You can see some samples and comparisons on the website.

Watching the series on Adult Swim and for whatever reason ep 2 & 3 are missing from season 5? Anybody know any good alternatives that are free? Or just any way to watch 2 & 3 would be great.

MY LIST:
Jack and the Zombies (EP 30)
Jack and the Haunted House (EP 35)
Jack and the four seasons of death (EP 49)
The first Figth (EP 3)
Samurai vs. Samurai (EP 42)

So Aku uses Technology to fight Jack and to be specific

He commands mad scientists and to makes robots

However there is one minion aka Demongo who emerged from Pit of Darkness just like Aku and is a real ass demon guy

So my point is

Why Aku doesn't use actual demons rather than technology to fight Jack?

I sorta feel like most of citizens in Samurai Jack aren't even alive and are just robots everywhere xd

I know it's all because of CN and the whole "no blood allowed!" but just

Why?

Let me explain you know how it ended with jack back in his old time what about the future he left behind and the people there I think it could be an interesting premise to explore the future without jack and how the people think he abandoned them and fend for themselves.

I came here from other subreddits dedicated to TV series and animated shows I was watching for the first time, and Samurai Jack was one of those unique experiences. Unfortunately, it wasn't actually part of my childhood, but that didn't diminish the profound impact the story had on me. At first, the story seemed "simple"—it started as an incredibly cool episodic adventure. An honorable samurai trying to return to the past... and stop the great, absolute evil, Aku... As the episodes went by, I found myself getting more and more eager for the next one. And when I reached the final season, it was obviously a shock: The animation—already great—leveled up... the story focused more on Jack's psyche after those 50 years... and Ashi made a huge impact on me, too. Even though her transformation was quite abrupt, it was still really cool to see that—to see Jack with a companion by his side. And when the final episode arrived... It left a bitter taste in my mouth and a lump in my throat... Because it’s an ending that really drives home the point that... An honorable hero's sacrifice isn't a trivial thing; it's difficult. It carries weight, and there’s no guarantee everything will turn out okay. I still have my doubts and theories, But it was beautiful nonetheless. The journey was concluded, the duty fulfilled... And Samurai Jack became one of those shows that—despite not being part of my childhood— Changed my perspective on life and became one of my all-time favorites.

It’s obviously not explicitly stated, but... Taking a more optimistic view, I like to think that perhaps Jack, in his own timeline, will now age very slowly... And I believe he reunited with his best friend, "The Scotsman," at some point, living a much better life without Aku's oppression in the world. I also like to think that maybe Jack saw some of the people he had helped... Well, that’s at least how I like to see things... But I feel for Ashi; Jack really deserved to live happily after the hell he endured for years and years— frustrated, deceived, and having his hopes crushed by Aku.

While we all admit it was a decent ep, I find it hard to believe that Jack is that intelligent for a human

Because at the end of the ep, he was almost at the end of reaching his goal without Aku interfering once again

But he chooses their life over the time portal, which while it does look heroic and all

Doesn't he realise if he time traveled back to the past and killed Past Aku, the two shaolin monks would still be alive?

Considering the fact that he did in the final season, so what's the difference?

I photoshopped this while losing my lungs

Here, my early samurai jack as a child drawing from August 2001 and since this artwork has been uploaded on August 11, 2001 (08-11-2001), just one day samurai jack premiere... enjoy!

I ve started watching the show again and this scene where jack puts this guy's sword on his chest and those Valkyries taking him to valhalla with a deep, nostalgic music in the background, is simply amazing.

Probably why the 3 God itself could just handled AKU but somehow there's a Dimension echoing, feeling,&calling. Maybe the Mass black Object wasnt really the Main Villain. Something More in the Abyss a Void! Which They themselves need to check pretty much the reason why they havent check Samurai Jack and his Dad.

Should we Get Samurai Jack into the Dimension. lol
