Opinion I really disliked the episode Tricycle Thief, and it became my No.1 most hated Rugrat episode.
My point about this episode is that it's downright the worst Angelica torture episodes, and Susie acted like a Karen in this episode. The way Susie pier pressured Chuckie to let go of his balloon with Cynthia tied to it, which really bothered me. Unexplaining plot: How did Chuckie's balloon lift Cynthia to the sky if she was heavier than the balloon? Wouldn't Cynthia just fall to the ground? As soon when Susie found her tricycle under the porch, she ended becoming extremely guilty for her actions, and apologizes to Angelica. "Hello! Earth to Susie?! How are you even sorry after you ruined Angelica's life without Cynthia and accusing her for stealing your tricycle?! Apology denied, Carmichael!" At least the ending is decent where Angelica got Cynthia back, and accepted Susie's apology, and the two rode their tricycles together, which is fine. Overall, I'm just not a big fan of this episode, and Susie never got punished for her actions making her a karma houdini.
All of this is just my opinion, so my opinions may not be the same as yours.

General If the first Rugrats movie got really dark and had Tommy kill Dil what would your reaction be and how do you think the rest of the movie would play out?
I know Tommy wasn't going to kill Dil but lets say he did what would your reaction be if that did happen and how do you think the rest of the movie would play out?

Question Are there any recording scripts or something that has a production date?
NOT for the movies, but for the episodes. I’m really curious. There are a lot of production sketches and lists for a lot of old Warner Bros. cartoons that have dates on them. Even the Simpson’s has hundreds of original recording scripts floating around online. But I can hardly find any for most Nicktoons. I believe they started working on this show in the fall of 1990. In Tommy’s 1st Birthday, Didi’s magazine says October 1990 on it. When did they wrap production for season 3? Like around late 1993/winter of 1994? And since David Doyle died in late February 1997, was most of season 4 recorded in mid to late 1996? I heard they made the Las Vegas episode in 1995.
The Passover episode was definitely made for season 3. If it was legitimately made in 1994, as it aired in April 1995, the animation would’ve been totally different. I like to see how long it took from voice recording to air. Some Simpson episodes had a very quick turnaround which is surprising. Like “Trash of the Titans” from season 9 was recorded in October 1997 and aired in April 1998. But others were held over by a season/year, like the Guatemalan insanity peppers episode. I also hate how IMDB/Wiki gets a lot of season 5 Rugrat episodes wrong. I know for a fact that Word of the Day aired in August 1998, NOT December 1997. That must have been when they were still working on it.

General Big name actors that were on the show?
For the longest time I had no idea Kim Catrall voiced Chuckie's mom
r/rugrats • u/New-Shop-9728 • 4d ago
General When was it first confirmed Chuckie's mom died?
In the first few seasons we never see his mom or even mentioned, so were left to speculate what exactly happened (died, ran off, went missing, etc). The Mother's Day episode is the first time I remember when we find out she died, were there any mentions before that?

Question Grandpa Lou
Wasn’t there an episode where he was eating long john doughnuts?? Am I crazy?
General Seriously, what happened with Christine Cavanaugh?
She was an extremely talented voice actor and she was at the peak of her career.
Do you think that she was diagnosed with Leukaemia just before she retired, meaning that the Leukaemia was the reason she retired?
Or, was she diagnosed and then very soon after she decided to take her life?
Do you think that her religion being the latter-day saints have anything to do with it? Do you think her family or people part of the religion did not agree with what she was doing for whatever reason?
Or, did she genuinely just want to retire very young at the top of her game?

Question Who was the most neglectful parent/guardian in rugrats?
I feel like the pickles might have been the most neglectful because of didis by the book parents which is pretty annoying, also the episode where she got rid of tommys reptar items just because it could scare dil..
