I've been seeing an influx of posts from people saying they don't feel like they belong or have trouble connecting with others on a deeper level. I agree that Queen's is an extroverted, party-heavy school that doesn't always make room for quieter people.

Would anybody be interested in setting up or joining an introvert support group/club? It could literally just be a group chat where we check in on each other and hang out occasionally. It doesn't have to be anything forced or high-commitment.

I'm a 3rd-year male student, and I feel like I've been struggling with my mental health since coming back to school. I've never looked into therapy/mental health services before, and I honestly don't know where to start or what my school insurance may cover, etc.

I'm a 2nd-year Health Sciences student at uOttawa, and I'm thinking about transferring to Queen's (Life Sciences) for Fall 2027. My main reason is my parents are moving to Toronto they live in Montreal right now and uOttawa is very commuter-heavy, I live near campus, and I haven't been able to make friends even after joining three clubs. I made 3 friends first year in residence but they were from alberta and manitoba and ended transferring to universities there. I have a few commuter friends who occasionally show up to campus like once a week so its kinda cooked. My current cgpa is 9.2. I also checked Queens transfer credits thing Id need to do a few more courses to be caught up 2-4 I think. Life sciences at queens is a gpa killer tho from what Ive head. But I heard student life in general is better at Queens. I heard most students live on or within a 15 min walk from queens campus. Is transferring worth it? Ive also shadowed doctors before in kingston and my end goal is med school.

If anyone could provide some guidance as to how to do decently well on this midterm. There's so much content and I'm scared lol

I’m a frosh and it’s only been a month but I still have like no friend. i won’t lie it is partly my fault for not putting myself out there but everyone else seemed to form their own groups the first day.

ive tried joining a club but I’ve still had no luck , people on my floor don’t even acknowledge my existence except this one guy who stares at me ( I’m pretty sure he’s attracted to me but I’m not into him)

to make things worse I’m not doing well in my courses either. I have never been this depressed im also an out of province student too so my parents can’t help me, and I’ve been spiraling since hoco is tomorrow and Ill probably just end up bed rotting

I was wondering if anyone who's taken PSYC 251 before had any advice for the upcoming midterm in a week.

I'm honestly really nervous for it and don't exactly know what topics I should focus more on while studying and it is stressing me out real bad, especially since I am not good at memorizing specific dates (and I know that the periods of development are important, but I have trouble with remembering what exactly happens within each specific week and I'm freaking out!)

Why have no buses been on time through megabus for the past few weeks? This situation is ridiculous. Every bus is cancelled or delayed at least an hour. And they never send out emails that the buses are delayed. Whomever is running this organization needs to be fired.

New to the university. Where to find residence, close to university, within walking distance for incoming 4 months September 2027.

I was looking at the admission requirements and grade calculation for the Arts and Science (physics program), and it says your average has to be a minimum of 80%. Most results on reddit post gave a range of them having 89-97%. I added up my pre reqs and additional two 4U classes and my average is 89%.

Can I possibly get in? Have people with similar averages got in before? Am I screwed? What do I do?

Someone please help.
