I honestly love the questionable sticker placement that happens frequently here. Someone else was trying to see through the sticker as I was walking up, gave up and set it down. Snatched it immediately and giving it a shine later 😁.

Do you ever think about rearranging your Pyrex when you get a new set and then look around and think,

Found this well-loved Pyrex 623-b casserole in a metal stand yesterday. The glass doesn’t have a single scratch or chip, but the embossed numbers are all crusted in baked-on grease, so I know someone was using it! The metal is not pristine like the glass, but it’s still totally serviceable! Does anyone know if the metal stand was sold with the casserole dish? When I used lens is suggested the dish was 1920-30s, but the metal stand is 1950-70s and I wasn’t sure if that is accurate.

It always brings me an unreasonable amount of joy to thrift Pyrex at actual thrift store prices. These cleaned up beautifully and considering the matte design, I am very happy with the how minimal the wear is all things considered for 60+ year old bowls!

Forest Fancies 475 in great condition and Snowflake Blue 401 for $30 together, thanks to rare conditions met for me for an estate sale:

I was #2 and was just 3 steps behind #1 grabbing a 3 mixing bowl set of Butterfly Gold. Should have thought to pull up the email with my number on my phone a little earlier, but they wanted $60 for those bowls so it wasn't a huge miss necessarily. The 401 is not in the best condition but I'll try some Peek on it at least. The Forest Fancies 475 is in very good condition overall, just a little wear on the paint under one of the spouts.

Spring Blossom Green II 475 and Butterfly Gold I 063 (with decorated lid!) were FB marketplace pickups.

I just received this Woodland 471 from Vinted and noticed this unevenness in the finish. Will this even out with Peek, or should I raise it with the seller? It was a decent price but a little higher than I've been targeting generally, because it came with the lid.

I was elated to find this black clear bottom Pyrex bowl today! I had let one go at a flea market a few years ago and regretted not buying it ever since. When I saw this bowl today I actually started shaking I was so excited 😂

Hello Pyrex people! My mom bought two of these handles in an auction. This one has a little glass disk attached to it, the other doesn't. We can't figure out the purpose of the disk, does anyone know? I'd love to hear any ideas!

PYREX Blue Delphite bowl. I love this colour.

Everyone knows I’m a big fan of small deli containers for stacking. But I got some of these to try (for bringing food places too), and they are an amazing fit. And no I don’t have any ties to the company, I saw an ad and wanted to see if it was snake oil 🤣.

I feel awful today, but something told me to go check my local spot anyway. $2 a piece and not a single scratch 🙌. Still on the hunt for that elusive Blossom one though…

I almost didn't get it. I decided I needed a bowl that I could really beat up because I love the size and heft of these 404s and 444s. But I'm so picky and mine are really nice and I won't use rotary beaters and stuff in them so I picked this one up. It cleaned up so damn nice tho. Of course it has some abrasions and scuffs on the interior which is to be expected from an 80-year-old bowl that was actually used. I have a feeling this will be my main work horse. I really didn't know if I could get it clean but using bar keepers Friend very very lightly so I didn't hurt the finish took every mark off of it.

(I promise it's the same bowl. I think the photo color difference has to do with the grime on it and the fluorescent lighting in the thrift store).

Saw this little gem (minus the top), no idea what I’m going to do with it now that it’s cleaned up but was fun to come across!

My mom bought this for me, and I’m not sure what the pattern is! It’s obviously pretty faded, but I still don’t know what it would have been. I thought it looked similar to a Town and Country color but I didn’t think they had solid colors with no patterns in the casserole dish. Any ideas on what it could be?

Found this little guy at Goodwill today. Incredibly, the print is in perfect condition but, as you can see, there is baked on grease (I think?) all over it & I'm scared I'll scratch the print trying to get it off. I was hoping this lovely community might have ideas on how to clean it safely.

Can anyone confirm what I have here? Is this even Pyrex? If so, is it from the 400 series?
