This album continues to floor me everyday.. Has been in rotation for the past 10 days. The energy, soaring solos, change ups, surprises and concept all capture the beauty of what this genre is about. Does anyone have similar albums to recommend that have this spirit?

Clean Today I'd like to recommend you Empty Tremor - Breaking The Mirror. It's classic prog metal so if you like Dream Theater or Symphony X, this it's for you.

Instrumental Instrumental Prog / metalcore recs?
7
Upvotes
Hi all, I know you guys like giving recommendations, so here is my question. I was listening to and really enjoying Clayton King's single Blue Sky. Then I saw his band "So it begins" – which he called metalcore – and listened to Iremia. The instrumentals were great, but I'm not a vocal guy due to my work (I work with writing and reading a lot, and lyrics distract me). So I was wondering, are there metalcore bands that are instrumental in that same vein?
In case you want to know what I usually listen to, here's my playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2PTuj1l10j7KGN915BOAum?si=1O_l5OMuQr6dr_tJrEjBFA&utm_source=copy-link&pi=nz8enwTySQitV
