Mod Post A Reminder Regarding Spoiler Tags

Hey everyone, we hope you're doing well. 😊 The team at r/Pokopia have a short announcement/reminder to make regarding in-game events (& new content).

Starting things off, we're glad so many of you seem to be enjoying both the Pumpkaboo H'ween event, alongside the other events we've seen since the release of Pokopia. It's always great seeing more items & little things to do throughout the year in the Pokopia universe! ❤️

While we're really happy to see it going down well, we'd like to give a small reminder that all posts relating to new events require a spoiler tag, as to make sure people have the option of experiencing any sort of new content at their own pace. 🧸

We're aware there isn't as much new content in comparison to when something like the Bubbly Basin DLC was released, however we also know that we've seen people who really would like to experience new content from events in-game first before having it shown to them on Reddit.

Going forward, we'll be asking for everyone in this community to be mindful of this for the period of time that the Pumpkaboo event is running for, alongside any future new events that may appear.

Thanks for understanding & we hope you're all enjoying the new content! ❤️

Designs & Builds Flygon’s new Home (Pallet Town)

So I wanted Flygon (and it’s evolutions in prefabs so I had to tear down some homes, I gave Tinkaton and tinkatink , a prefab, covered it with blocks to make it similar to her previous home. Cacnea and cacturn and gave them a shared home had individual homes in the desert zone, and to make room for a large house I needed to tear down Umbreon’s hut house. I also had to give zoroark’s house a makeover. So I remade zoroark’s house and had umbreon live with Zoroark.

As for Flygon I made him a sand castle, a palace of sand. There’s even a secret treasure room hidden in the back

This is my first building game and I thought "how hard can it be?"

So after three days of terraforming and a full afternoon dealing with having no idea how to deal with water and different levels, this came out

Not anywhere near done, but at least is not just 200×200 squares of plain soil and ocean stone

Discussion Note: There's a limit to storage

I'm beyond annoyed, I spent months designing and building my storage system with a grand entrance, a cave, 2 levels and thousands of pokemetal spent. And then only once I had finished I placed all the chests, and as I finished perfectly organising item frames for almost every item and block in the game based on how much storage I would need of each I started the process of unloading all of my chests from all 6 areas I couldn't open them.

I then asked about if there's a limit to the amount of storage you can have per area.

I HAVE 432 ALREADY IN PLACE

Why is this a feature, I feel like this is something a lot of people will run into and it serves no benefit.

🫧 Bubbly Basin 🫧 Bio-Dome🌺🏵️🏞️ Hotsprings for my Bubbly Blub Bubs

I wanted to build a hotsprings oasis with "exotic" plants not normally found there for my Bubbly Basin babes to explore and relax in. Kinda like a botanical garden they can go visit.

Making the glass dome was quite the headache but I was so giddy once I figured it out. I had to make the dome out of blocks first and then go back and replace each individual one with a glass plane. I did it this way so I could see and be certain of how I was placing the glass. It gets really hard to discern the glass's position at the water's surface level. I left a skylight opening at the top so that it could still rain inside....you know We Gotta Keep This Place Humid.

Hope y'all like it! 😁

Question The areas feel too small to house all 300 pokemon?

I’ve finished the story in every area except Skylands, but I’ve been working on remodelling Wastes as a break from the story (and I also don’t like the pink hammer pokemon all that much so I need to do something that interests me lmao). I know there’s 5 areas, so you can have 60 pokemon on each area, but looking around Wastes it doesn’t feel big enough for 60 Pokemon. I tried to see if anyone else felt the same way but all I saw was people saying that the world felt too big. Am I the only one who doesn’t know how I’m going to get 60 pokemon into each area?

🫧 Bubbly Basin 🫧 Bubbly Basin 80s Miami Inspired Building

Thumbnail

Bubbly Basin gives me 80s Miami vibes! So I started creating one of those classic art deco modern buildings!!
I like how the front turned out for the most part! May swap windows to the port hole ones once I get it, but for now the washing machine will do 😅 Also love the little wiggly shaped hot spring pool! Ended up adding some umbrellas by the loungers and a pink n blue floaty to the pool to create a couple more habitats.
Absolutely hate the “back” side, that’s actually the front. I like the neon wrap around, but something about the left side of the building just feels off. The inside isn’t quite complete yet, but I did build a water wall feature to encase the stairs to get to the second floor!

Included the inspo pic I used from Google!

Discussion Pokémetal farming.

I saw a video about doing this (on a much smaller scale). I decided to go for it fully. This is Dragonite Dream Island. Basically once you get there, you walk over to the patch of sand to the left of the windmill and dig down 7 times. From there, you use Rollout without a boost to dig around the pokémetal. Once you have a sufficient area cleared, you use specifically Potato Hamburger Steak (much stronger/lasts longer than regular Hamburger Steak) to upgrade Rock Smash so that Rollout can break pokémetal. Now for what I did. I did pretty much edge to edge of the map. I left one layer of sand between me and the "you can't go further". I only focused on the 2 levels that Rollout naturally breaks. I only used Leppa Berries to recharge. I don't remember the exact number I started with but it was 1 full stack of 99 and 1 partial stack. I do know that I started with 148 steaks however (I made 74 myself with Chef following and got lucky so got double).

Pros and Cons of doing this -

Pro: I have so much pokémetal/rare pokémetal now.

Con: This took about 7 hours. I started between 9 and 10 pm and finished around 4 am. All one sitting.

Would I do this again? Honestly maybe, just not on this scale. At some point it became "I've come this far, might as well finish."

Do I recommend doing this? Not particularly. I don't think there is enough of a necessity to do this, not all in one sitting at least.

Designs & Builds Pumpkin house with wrap-around patio + creepy fountain Spoiler

My take on the pumpkin house for Pumpkaboo & Gourgeist! My favorite part is the patio with the square hedges and the colorful fish scale tile painted orange 🧡(Please forgive me for the dirt patch that Mosslax lives in right now, I have concepts of a plan for his home soon 😭)
