Playing solo in PAYDAY 3 is a very rough experience.
My girlfriend returned to the game after two years, and by nature, she almost exclusively plays solo. I watch her play, and sometimes she loses not through her own fault, but because three bots can't kill a single special unit.

One of my finest works in life, made it in school many years ago when I was actively playing pd2.

I don't know all the details about this, so someone smarter than me can explain the situation better than me. It'll most likely take a couple days for modworkshop to get back up.
UPDATE: It seems to be back up now.

Thank you, random medic-negotiator. Trading trivializes certain heists so much! We basically skipped half of the heist on ovk

The story goes Wolf was fixing up the EMP for the next heist, when suddenly the phone exploded in his chest pocket nearly burning through like thermite killing him if he didn’t have his vest on. So with the thrill of almost burning a hole through his chest gave him an idea for the cops and to get rid of these shit phone and try something different (ie more cosmetics like different phone).
How it will work with sudden impact sticking to an enemy’s, shelled or dozers and burning right through their armor layers then killing them. It will also work off the shock grenade skills for armor shred and duration while grenades skills do big pacific enemy health damage without blow back.
Shock grenades skill possibilities: (repair job aced is baked in) by stick this on or near a sentry turrets it will fix it with (technology) given it a small 2x boost in rate of fire and AP for x amount of time based on shock grenade skills. With said skills it will burn fast and quick on enemies shredding armor in minutes while stunting them fast in places doing very little health damage because you might not invested in grenadier tree.
Grenade skill possibilities: (no blow back explosion when thrown and mad bomber works like fan throw on enemy death. can only kill two extra by using one throwable and not get flashbangs but 2 extra exploding phones.) with every skill invested into the grenadier tree will increase the amount of health damage it will do. but without shock grenade skills it will take more time burning through armor stunning them less frequently before exploding the rest of the armor off and doing some or very little health damage depending on what armor layers was left after burning.
Note) sudden impact skill does work it just the ace version does and base doesn’t because the exploding phone sticks to enemy.
So with both skills tree max, it will burning armor fast in minutes stunning them shortly. before suddenly dying from a pacific explosion doing big heath damage kill one then spreading to two other enemies before doing the same killing them without spreading.
Bonus option both stockpile skills can stack.

I'm looking to buy the DLCs for the game and I want to know which DLCs to buy first and in which order. I already own the base game but can't afford the other Editions (Like Legacy Edition, which I've seen people recommend instead of buying the DLCs separately). I can only afford 2 DLCs for now.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that it's for Payday 2

As a player who mainly plays overkill, I really like the state it's in right now. All special enemies feel threatening, and it's both a skill check and a build check. The issue I think most people have with overkill is that
A: You can only really use SMGs/ Shotguns
B: It's too high of a jump between very hard->overkill
I think that to fix this, there should either be a difficulty between very hard -> overkill, or make hard harder and very hard harder. What do yall think?

I bought it like 2 days ago and I wanted to know if there are some stuff I had to know first before playing. I already have years of experience with Payday 2 and Payday 3 but assuming that it's my first time playing the first game in the trilogy I want to know if there are some tips and advice I should acknowledge first before trying. I haven't touched the game yet by the way so it will be a new experience for me. I already wanted to do the overdrill challenge but this might take some time first and if I should buy some DLCs aswell.

Guys, the new Payday 3 character was leaked since the game's beta.
Please don't be surprised.

Was always a clue that it would take 3 years for the game to become good. Not that it was the third game.(because Crime War is technically the third released Payday game)
Thats it, thats the joke. Leave your downvote on the way out.

Thinking of making a stealth build and trying to stealth no rest for the wicked. But im not sure how. I wasnt bad at payday 2 stealth but I perfered the more straight foreward take over heists eg bank heist diamond store ect

The game is good, very good, but a few times I was left scratching my head as to why FTG decided to make some decisions
First of all, marking was removed. Like just gone. You cannot mark enemies or guards. I understand why the game is VC only, but adding a way to let your team know where guards/specials are without speaking would be really nice
Second, the inability to put bags on your back is just... weird. It was in Payday 2 VR, and it causes so many issues when trying to survive a gun fight. At one point I was trapped in the sewer, unable to move bags because I needed my rifle at the ready due to 2 Shields and a Dozer. This is especially odd to be because bots can pick up bags, and they are held on their backs
Third, the hand swaying is just so disorienting. I don't see why my hands need to be moving when I'm not moving. If I want to mimic a running animation, I can just swing my hands, I don't need them to be moving themselves

I'm not a creator of this mod, but it seems interesting. I test it already and it's works. Not without some moments, but if you wanna test demo and dont have a helmet - click here.

So I've been getting back into PAYDAY 3 with all the recent changes and so far it's been a blast. Still enjoy the stealth and loud gameplay equally. But I tried jumping into loud on Overkill after having played the heists a lot on loud and leveling up to get the max skill points. Tried out many different builds from both online and my own, but every time I play any heist on Overkill loud, I just get immediately rinsed. I tried various different frames with different plates and still nothing. My armor gets shredded through no matter where I go and I can't keep up with all the cops.
Is there something I'm missing? I feel like it's just high damage nonsense from Death Sentence when that was still being implemented.
