Selling my Malibu. It’s an older car and definitely isn’t perfect, but it runs and drives and has had quite a bit of work done recently. Also needs a good clean.

New brake pads
Comes with brand-new rotors, just haven’t installed them (did a pad slap)

New starter

New tires, still under warranty through Discount Tire (quarter pictured for tread reference)

Recently fixed an oil leak that was caused by the oil filter threading

The serpentine belt needs to be replaced and is making some noise. It also occasionally has a hard start after it’s been running, but otherwise runs well. Interior has some wear, including a tear in the driver’s seat. Everything is pictured.

The used car market is ridiculous right now, and finding something that actually runs for $1,000 is getting harder and harder. I’m not claiming it’s a perfect car, but it’s a decent option for someone who needs something affordable to get from point A to point B without spending thousands of dollars.

I can also make other food like a pot roast or something, honestly if you have something you've been craving l'm sure I could figure it out I like food that tastes good so just know your in good hands. I always worry going to a new spot that It wont be flavorful / tasty enough.

Hi all, I'm looking for greener pastures after living at my current place for ~3 years or so in the uptown area.

What I'm looking for:

I'm looking for a room in either midtown, downtown, Melrose, basically anywhere close to the 7s. I prefer a room with a private bath but can be flexible with that for the right place/person. The room can either be furnished or not. I work from home and need stable, decent internet. I prefer some sort of shaded off-street parking but am flexible with that as well.

About me:

I'm a 41 year-old guy and have been an environmental scientist for the past decade or so. For the past two years I've been doing a sort of snowbird thing and working remote in Phoenix from about October to June and going up to Milwaukee from June-October to do field work during the summer rush.

I'm financially-stable, mature, and easy to get along with. I like living with others because I live fairly simply, enjoy a little bit of the social aspect, and since I split my time between two states it makes logistical/financial sense to live somewhere with furnished common spaces.

Hangups:

**Pet things:** I'm a cat person, so if you have a cat or two and keep the house relatively clean we're having fun. I have unreasonably high standards for dog owners though: if you're a 99th percentile dog owner who does a stellar job keeping the house clean and your dog is very well-trained and quiet I'm happy, but anything less is a non-negotiable. I'm happy to look after cats while you're away but will not take care of a dog.

Hobbies:

Cycling and hiking are my main outdoor things. Indoors I'm doing video games, board games, and I'm a bit of a home cook.

Personal/social things: I'm a lefty but not obnoxious about it. So if you're a crypto fascist, weird religious guy, Zionist, Maga chud, or some combination of those we might not get along. Or it'll be a The Odd Couple situation, who knows?
