I'm undecided; I don't know if it has more improvements or anything like that. I'm just now finding out that Open exists.

I recently learned how to use sandbox mode which was amazing enough as is, but I was watching a tutorial and they made use of the tile inspector. WELL. I don't think I'll be going outside much for the next few days. As somebody who plays more so for the scenery building and making things look nice than anything else, I am overwhelmed by the possibilities.

I know nothing about computers so please explain it like I’m an idiot. On a mac.

I know a few people have reported this already while others haven't been able to recreate it.

I stream the game, so I decided to record it myself. I use Voicemeeter with a Presonus USB Audiobox. It's not too noticeable in the video but it can get worse if more stuff is running in the background.

Anyone else have this issue where the ghost train ride only allows one car, even with a large station?

I just build my first successful triple launch coaster, but I can't seem to get it to work in block section mode. What could I be doing wrong? It works with one train, but not more, and I built 3 block sections.

Hello, I just updated open rtc2 to 0.5.6 and some objects are missing in the object selection window (scenery, rides, paths, entrances). I've never messed with the custom content folder and all the box are checked.

It appears that a few rides/scenery that I've used in the past are still present there. I tried going back to the previous version, that did nothing.

It feels like I'm missing something and can't put my finger on it.

Just bought a new computer long after not having a functioning one.

Trying to put my 5080 to the test and by that I mean finally play openrct2 after years of wishing I could.

Where can I find user created scenario and are these any “you need these plugins”.. what are the websites I should looking on?

Right now I feel like I’m missing everything I’ve seen in the past few years watching YT videos or posts on Reddit.

Apologies if this has been asked, I couldn't find a specific answer. I'm playing through the RCT+expansion and eventually RCT2 campaign. Is it possible to somehow get all the rides from the expansions and RCT2 into parks for RCT1? Just for fun of course.

Hello, so I created a scenario using the editor; however, when creating the entrance, I messed up, and now I can't place any plants along the paths going to the entrance of the park from the edge of the map because the area is not owned by the park. Is there a way to buy the construction rights for the land so that I can at least add some scenery to those areas?

How can I create my own custom themes in OpenRCT2 version 0.5.5 and add specific objects to them? Or is there a program I need to use for this?

At the moment, I have so many objects in the tab with the “?” that it’s becoming quite messy. I also have other tabs with all kinds of objects, but I would like to organize everything according to my own preferences and create my own custom tabs/themes.

What would be the best way to do this?

I followed the instructions on the wiki, but I'm not sure what actually connected the Steam version of RCT2 to OpenRCT2. Was it just the download depot command put into the Steam console?

I see a comment from 4 years ago saying you need to move the game files. I didn't do this but OpenRCT2 still runs - how can I verify that it's working correctly and I have all the goodies of the Open version? It looks good to me but want to double check.

Added image of the title screen. I also have access to the Track Design Manager with newer coasters like Hybrid that I think confirm I downloaded it correctly.

A last minute advertising campaign got me just enough guests with a fraction of a buffer. No cheats enabled or used.

I’m trying to install some plugins, which I’ve never done. I extracted the files to the plugin folder in openrct2, but my computer won’t open it. So I switched it to open with openrct2, but all that does is open a second app. I switched it back to open with its original file, but nothing happens in orct2. Can someone please eli5 and help me out?

I downloaded the Skydiver from Amazing Earl and put it in my park. However, I cannot get it to work. Peeps line up, then enter the enterance, but immediately walk out of the entrance and back in the queue. Is this a ride issue, or is it me?

I've been chatting with some peers and I was told by them that this re-compilation uses GenAI/LLMs for assistance purposes. But that seemed weird to me because the project started in 2014, well before this technology plagued literally every new open-source project. Furthermore, I couldn't find any mention on the formal website or on the GitHub page. Did I miss something or are my suspicions correct?

I’m having a dickens of a time trying to figure out how to get these trains to actually launch backwards up the spike for a ride recreation. Is this even possible without writing a script?

I already own RCT2 and have OpenRCT2 downloaded. Is there any benefit to also owning RCT1 or RCT classic?
