I would like to be a stay at home cat mom pls. 😭 I have never had a bonded pair, and I’m just absolutely obsessed. Absolute hunks.

A few months ago, I was kinda forced to pick up these two stray kittens. why? because a bunch of kids separated them from their mom for the fun of it and when they got bored of them, they simply dumped them in a building which happened to be the one next to mine. now the residents there are notorious for just relocating whichever cat finds their way over there and they were basically ordering the watchman to dump them far away. I was in no position back then (im still not) to take in more kittens but I couldn’t sit back and watch it happen. I took them in and named them Chai Latte - they turned out to be sisters.

I’m active on this sub so a lot of you might remember me as the rescuer of the paralysed cat Biscoff who has a bit of a fanbase here, Bob who I picked up from a construction site and Bento who was left on my doorstep in a box (updates on my profile about them!) I run a very tiny rescue that has way too many cases and these are just the orange ones.

now this case won’t seem urgent to you. nobody’s hurt or injured, it’s been a couple of months since I rescued them too. they had calicivirus, skin infections and a bunch of other things (imagine the vet bills) and we have finally been able to see the light at end of the tunnel now. except not really because nobody’s ready to adopt a pair especially one that’s 10 months old. they had no fosters available so they were staying at a boarding for 5 whole months and will be back there since their current foster can only shelter them till october end.

im trying but its genuinely so so hard to get genuine homes and im anticipating it taking some more time. which means money for boarding, spaying, food and litter. I’m so overwhelmed that sometimes I have dreams where the best thing to happen to me is finding a good home for all my rescues.

I only need a little more time on my hands to keep looking for them. I genuinely believe there’s someone out there for them. As a rescuer, i’m always standing on the edge with expenses and energy. These idiots have a nice home because I begged for them until my husband caved. And what do I get? Nuthin. I bought them a fancy new scratcher last week…. Do I get cuddles? NO. B. S. Ps: obviously delighted husband’s arms are outstretched super weird because he is still trying to play his PS5 at the same time. 🤣

They will also cuddle and the bigger one (Adrian) will groom the smaller one (Rocky), they share food (which surprised me), and Adrian hates not having access to Rocky. I’m fairly certain that they’re play fighting and I’m not sure if I’m letting it go on too long as I’ve never had cats this young before, or orange cats before these two.

I should add that immediately after this video maybe 5 seconds later he was pouncing at her again after escaping from her and she looked at him like he’s dumb.

Hey guys, I need your help. An orange cat mommy left her two kittens in my backyard. They're hiding in fear under my water heater and making sobbing sounds. I left out some bread and water for them. I don't know what to do because I've never had a cat before. I need your help, give me some advice. They look so cute omg.
