Hello I’m trying to get back to streaming more any advice and support will be so much appreciated. I need to really try and get into the rhythm of things I play different games so for any advice for a small streamer will be great.

We’re putting together a small, chill community for streamers (or people thinking about getting into streaming) who actually want to make friends in the space.

It doesn’t matter if you stream on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, or somewhere else — everyone’s welcome. 🎮

We’re mainly looking for people who are:
• Friendly and easygoing
• Able to joke around and enjoy some banter
• Active streamers, or genuinely interested in starting
• Actually interested in talking, gaming, hanging out, and getting to know people
• Open to things like collabs, raids, co-streams, etc. when it feels natural 🤝

What we don’t want:
❌ Follow-for-follow
❌ People who join just to dump their links and disappear
❌ A server with 500 members where nobody actually knows each other
❌ Unnecessary drama

The whole point is to build a smaller community where people actually talk, play games together, support each other, and hopefully make some genuine friends along the way.

No pressure to be some huge established streamer either — just be active, friendly, and actually interested in being part of the group.

I've recently started streaming again. With my return I've finally got properly working event alerts such as subs, follows and raids. Also, I have proper channel point and bit redemption. Among those redemption are the one that will add a credit to MAME(arcade) titles while I stream them.

So now, you'll be able to redeem like a troll and obscure my game; I stream from a single monitor laptop so anything you see I see also. With a Toss in a COIN! or 25 bit redemption as aforementioned you will add a credit to MAME titles.

Speaking of which I'm planning a bit Halloween arcade stream, for viewers to help me out. So far, my working games list for that stream include: Haunted Castle, Zombie Raid, Nightslashers, CarniEvil, SAR: Search and Rescue, Sinistar and I'm still looking for more coin-op titles to play.

Please comment with any other games that you would like to help me beat on stream. Remember these are suggestions only, and I'm going to judge them based on how well I think they fit the Halloween theme.

So, my handle on every social is FreakingFrosty. I need some help kind of finding ways to mix things up. I like playing games with big communities like FNaF which I just finished the first two. After playing FNaF games in a row, I feel like you could tell I was a little underwhelmed this last stream lol I had yesterday 10/18/2026. I tried going back to playing scary maps on Fortnite but I realized I need a game with substance.

Essentially I’m trying to ask, what are some huge communities that people absolutely love to watch more than they play themselves or both. That’s why I’m playing all the FNaF games and bc I saw the movies and it looked interesting. I loved the first two games but I don’t want to play the same games every stream. It’s not why I got into streaming. I got in to have fun, play lots of games, talk to people, build a community, but mostly to have fun and entertain.

Is there any other game franchises that I can play with big communities that like to watch on stream that I can bounce off of (pause) while playing through the whole fnaf story?

I just finished my PC setup (Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, 32GB DDR5, 27" QD-OLED 240Hz) and I'm planning my first streams this week.

Steam Next Fest has hundreds of free demos until 26 Oct. I'm torn between:

- Chaos co-op (funny moments, good for clips)

- Survival (longer, chill stream)

- Cosy (relaxed, chat-friendly)

For a brand new streamer with a small audience, which type works best first? And any tips you wish you'd known for your first stream?

heyo, im a new streamer as of the last couple months, started the channel 4 yrs ago but has been untouched until like august/sept this year. i recently started setting up the visual and audio notifications for new followers, subs, redeemed items, etc. and it occured to me after watching a friends stream that making the new followers anonymous may be better for lurkers and overall the general audience. asking other creators for their experiences as well as especially the lurkers for their opinion on this. should i make it just a "someone followed you!" sort of thing and i can say thanks for the follow or would lurkers even just perfer nothing at all? (not that i want to cater to just one portion of the audience but like yk wanna keep in mind the audience as a whole and not assume just cus ppl are a viewer that they need to be called out by name)

I love watching videos of streamers/YouTubers who play games with a group of friends. But most people I know aren’t into the same type of games (steam games, like peak, and random stuff found on there) and are mostly into mainstream games(Fortnite, COD, GOW,etc), or don’t play games at all.

I’m 15f and I want to create content with people my ages (idc abt gender, as long as you are not homophobic, sexist, etc).

The basics of the story are that he’s a hivemind centered around calculated decisions to decide the best course of action.

His antithesis is centered around acting without hesitation to eliminate threats before doubt can take hold.

Hi all! I’m new to streaming, and since i’ve started just started out, i have a really shitty setup on my 7 y/o laptop (that can’t really even run minecraft really well).

It can handle a stream through OBS into twitch if i comment to my wifi with an ethernet cable, but i still cant really run any online games. (i was able to stream a dating sim type game really easily)

Does anyone know of any single player games that can be engaging for streaming that won’t make my computer shit itself?

Bonus points if they’re free or cheap to play bc i’m a super newbie who is saving up for a real pc setup!

I started streaming like 2months ago for the first time ever and growth has been slow & steady (which isn't a bad thing) but I've found myself so close to Affiliate (like 5 followers or something) & I have just stopped gaining new followers...

I'm really lucky that I've already achieved the average viewers requirement because I've met some pretty cool people in my chat that turn up typically every stream or every other stream and are active for like the whole thing! But I'm not sure if my 3-6 average viewer count is deterring new people from joining?

Or is it just a case of stick it out - it'll come eventually?

I'm planning a short mobile gaming stream with an illustrated character as the host. I'm deciding whether to perform the character myself or let AI handle its dialogue while I play.

If someone in chat jokes about a bad play, I like the idea of reacting in character right then. An automated host could respond too, but I wonder whether the timing and personality would feel different to viewers.

If I perform it myself, I'd want the character to have a distinct voice. I know Voicemod and [Voice.ai](applewebdata://E2241643-A224-4C64-93EF-37729730A15E/Voice.ai) are popular options for PC gaming, but I'd be streaming from my phone. I've also been considering Dubbing AI earbuds, though I haven't tested them with my streaming app.

Would knowing there's a real person behind every response make a difference, or would you enjoy a fully automated host just as much if it was entertaining?
