My friend does a haunted house every year and has different themes and setups. I think he's been doing it for like 15 years now. He gets pretty serious about it and the proceeds benefit the historical museum in the village.

Anyway, he's been collecting Aliens stuff for a few years and finally had enough that he felt it was ready. So he put it together as part of this years haunted house.

They were paper sheets filled with the latest in local, country, and worldwide news, along with sports and entertainment.

You had to wait till the day after the event, though. No instant news in the newspaper.

On the brightside? No influencers, no tide pod challenges.

This is a newspaper advertisement promoting the brand-new release of the movie Aliens, over 40 years ago.

This was in Australia, and the release day was November 6, 1986.

I randomly saw an ad on FB and I thought to myself that the artwork was sick on this officially licensed tote bag and I decided to buy it on a whim. It completely sold out. The art is by Attack Peter.

Something has been plaguing my NERD BRAIN…hear me out. In Aliens when the last showdown as a pack before countless deaths in medical….what do you think may have been the outcome / fate of the team had Newt NOT ran ahead in the vents & the team had not gotten so stretched / separated during that time. Are we to assume that they maybe may have all been cornered in the vents as Vasquez & Gormen were? Or would they have been able to successfully as a team keep that line tight in the vents? Would they have been able to make it out having not had to self sacrifice (Vasquez & Gormen) the grenade wouldn’t have come into play & therefore no explosion, no losing Newt, no going further into the structure to go back for her…….maybe a whole different Alien 3? I personally think that the hopelessness is what makes for a great movie……but really killing off more of the team really didn’t have to happen that team was beat down in every way! Just wondering if maybe just maybe we could’ve gotten more of the team out. Or as I mentioned maybe they would’ve still been ambushed just as a team instead had Newt not run ahead? Thoughts? There are NO wrong answers here I just like to hear from likeminded individuals different theories THANKS 😊

Who would win?

I’ve had this since the Alien Resurrection videogame came out in 2000, but I’ve actually only very recently started using it for its intended purpose (drinking coffee). It’s got a few chips, but it still looks good. I don’t even remember how I got it, like if it was some kind of preorder bonus or what. I do have the videogame, though.

I’ll try to keep this short because I’m terrible at explaining myself,

I’ve avoided this franchise for a long time because I always assumed it wasn’t for me but surprisingly I really enjoyed these movies, I even bought isolation and started playing it,

I can see why Alien is such a classic, before even finishing the movie I could tell it’s something I’m going to return to many times in the future and Ripley honestly might be my favourite female main character in any movie, this may be a controversial opinion but Resurrection was my favourite with the first movie a very close second while 3 was my least favourite but still good and enjoyable I’d say mostly the same for Aliens but that gets the edge over 3 because I loved the relationship between Ripley and Newt which 3 ripped away from us,

Should I continue with Covenant and Romulus or maybe switch to the Predator movie(I’ve seen some already) or if you want just give me some spooky season recommendations.

I took inspiration from the official A:I2 key art with the tracker dropped in the mud. This is our first and only glimpse at the new style Motion Tracker so I created the torn book cover look to disguise the missing details from the tracker. ‘Key’ being a reference to Alien 1979 line “What does it key off?” and by pure luck Haynes rhymes with Weynes from Weyland-Yutani. Lastly, eagle eyes will note 348 and its significance.
