I cannot enjoy being in this community and even playing the game I LOVE right now due to some people in this community.
I will not name specifics, but they commonly create fake screenshots over people who said one bad thing in the past in attempts to get them banned everywhere. I genuinely cannot play LBP online anymore, because a large chunk of the community has tried to get me banned, and succeeded. Using faked and falsified screenshots.

Now, not everyone in the community is bad, but this should not be how our community acts. If LBP is Create, Play, and Share, why do we prevent people from playing and sharing?

Let that sink in.

I wanted to wait a few more weeks before posting this project on LBP socials, but I've seen the concerning number of fully vibecoded LBP projects on here in the last 48 hours. I figured I'd showcase what is possible without having AI do the entire thing for you. While I don't personally disagree with using AI in programming, I don't think it's fair to say **you** made a project when Claude/GPT made every file for you.

The project is called RePlanet. It'll allow anyone to recompile their personal LBP2 dump into a playable EXE* file. RePlanet will ship as an individual launcher that will not contain any LBP2 game files, as it will be up to the user to provide a legally obtained copy of the game, as well as decrypt the EBOOT.

*only Windows is working currently; I won't be looking to mac/Linux until later in the project

There are many benefits to playing the game natively as opposed to emulation. For starters, recompiling the game to run natively gives us the opportunity to optimize the game to run faster than emulation, supporting older hardware. In addition, this recompile will make modifications to the game a lot easier,

The game currently runs pretty well, 25-30fps in the majority of areas; some more intense story levels are under the FPS goal currently. Graphics are looking great, specific things like photos and Sackboy renders are broken. I've gotten it to connect to the Beacon custom server with full online play support (haven't tested P2P co-op yet).

My goal with this project is to get the game running about 1:1 to retail before beginning with modifications. However, it is my intention to make an easy plugin/mod management system.

It's too early for me to share much more, but I'll happily answer any questions you guys have.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this project is built off of the ps3recomp library, which has been the groundwork for this project. Without it, this wouldn't exist. I felt it's worth mentioning this not just for credit, but hopefully to be fully transparent. It is my understanding that Claude is a contributor of the ps3recomp library, and some of that code naturally is in the project. I want to emphasize that none of the work in the LBP2 branch of this project (my work) was done by AI.

I js made this 3d sackboy for fun, it has camera movement, walking and jumping. Animations are ready for idle, walking and jumping.

Tho i don't have any idea on what to do with it. This 3d Sackboy got potential so i don't wanna throw it away like this. Give me ideas!

This was really a mystery towards myself, but I'm wondering if y'all wondered about this for a long time too. :)

'Veraegic' was a LBP user that posted some of the best LBP 1 horror levels, which was only 'The Untenated' series. They did make another level called "Paath of Luna or Sol", but their horror level series was more popular.

The mystery surrounds a 3rd level of 'The Untenated' series which was teased at in both endings of the 2nd level named 'Untenated II: Neath dun Tenet'. I won't spoil the endings, but they both said that the story would continue in LittleBigPlanet 2, and sure enough there was a threequel published named 'Untenated III: Ordnance'.

However the level was locked and for the remaining years of LittleBigPlanet's life, the level was never unlocked. I did find a notice by Veraegic in the description of Ordnance which states "sorry, it might never be released :(", which meant that the level was cancelled. For me, I thought that the level was complete possibly in a incomplete state. Since Veraegic was inactive from there on out, the level was never would never be unlocked.

The mystery probably intrigued you more, since LittleBigPlanet 3 removed the feature of checking the details on locked levels. That meant there was no way to know that the level was cancelled, and since the servers for the old LBP games were turned off, there would be no way to know.

It was finally then that all of the LBP levels were archived and I checked to see if Ordnance was there and sure enough, it was. I downloaded it and imported it to My Moon. I was excited to see what incomplete state that I thought the level was gonna be in. However when the level loaded in, the level revealed itself to be absolutely nothing, it was just the LBP 2 blank level background. The level pretty much started with no development being made for it. It could be that the level was uploaded by Veraegic to let people know that the level was cancelled, but I second guessed that since the level already had a name.

To summarize this, there is no level, just a blank background.

I want to buy the LBP 2 special edition. It has DLCs like the Toy Story levels and PlayStation move levels. Is that loaded on the disc or is it a digital code it comes with?

The textures are broken, the introduction level glitches a lot so it is far from playable. But I'm working on it. I'm happy to answer questions! LBP1 doesn't get enough love, so to celebrate its birthday month, I'm highlighting one level a day. This is a level that puts your sackboy in funny situations so a lady can admire how cute your sackboy is. It's more enjoyable if you wear your favorite costume while playing it.

You can collect hidden stickers that can be used in a separate level that unlock instructions on how to make the characters as LBP costumes.
