Hii! Since sem 2 registration is coming up, I thought I’d ask which GNED course is easiest. I’m looking for something low effort, no presentations, no group work, and interesting. I know majority of the time it all depends on which prof you get but heres my top 5 (based on what I thought sounded interesting):

Hey everyone, I’m Omar. I’m building OVERTAKE, an Ontario-based content agency, and I’d love to connect with film and media students or graduates interested in freelance editing work.

We shoot content for local businesses, including barbershops, automotive businesses and other brands. I’m looking for someone to edit Instagram Reels, short promotional videos and occasional skits or longer projects.

The style I’m after is clean, polished and cinematic, with good pacing, colour grading, music, sound design, and creative transitions and effects. There’s room to bring your own ideas and help shape the videos.

I’ll provide the footage, creative direction and references. You’ll handle the editing.

You don’t need a long list of professional clients to reach out. Coursework and personal projects are welcome as examples of what you can do.

The work: Fully remote, project-based, with flexible hours around agreed deadlines. You must currently be based in Canada, with Ontario preferred.

Budget: CAD $50 to $75 per standard 30 to 45 second reel. Pricing can vary depending on the project, and I’m interested in batch rates for several videos from the same shoot.

We’ll agree on the scope, revisions, deadline and fee before starting.

I’m thinking to start to enroll in the supply chain management program at Humber.

FYI I have no previous experience in the field, I would start from scratch. I have a degree in communication and specialized in video editing. The program is interesting but I’m wondering if it is worth considering my background. Also, I’m comparing this program to Supply Chain courses in other colleges in Toronto.

If anybody is doing it right now or has done it in the past, is it worth it? Does it teach you relevant skills for today’s job market? How is it easy to find job when finished the program?

How long does CNO takes to approve education requirement? I am an IEN and completed my education pathway from Humber college and my completion certificate was received by CNO on Aug 24 but still I haven’t got any update? Is this normal or should I start worrying? Anyone have any idea about this?

hi! i'm thinking of applying to the human resources management postgraduate certificate (online) for january 2027. my understanding is that the classes take place evenings and weekends. i will be working full time and my schedule does have me working evenings every three weeks and every other weekend. i'm wondering if the classes have mandatory attendance? would love any other advice anyone has about the program as well!

Hi everyone! I'm starting a nature club at Humber focused on insects, plants, and local wildlife. IGNITE has confirmed the Arboretum counts as on-campus, so I'm hoping to hold meetups and nature walks there, and to use a meeting room at the Centre for Urban Ecology.

Membership is free and open to all Humber and Guelph-Humber students, from any program. No experience needed, just curiosity about nature.
