Discussion What the old Strongbow shirts actually sell for now
I've been tracking what retro Hearts shirts actually sell for on eBay (sold prices, not asking prices). The Strongbow years are holding up well:
- 1995-97 Pony home: £160 and £229
- 1995-96 Pony away: £200
- 1993-95 Asics home: £140
- 1997-98 Olympic home: £100
The oldest ones are even pricier. A 1983-86 Umbro away went for £350, and a 1986-87 Bukta Mita away for £250. More recent shirts go for much less: the Ūkio bankas era is mostly £20–£60.
It's only a handful of sales so far, so I'd love to know: what's the best Hearts shirt you own, and what do you reckon it's worth?

Other Ticketswap for Rangers game with less than 5 loyalty points?
Hi all, I have a friend visiting Edinburgh who would like to go to the game next Wed.
I have 10 loyalty points, so can buy tickets, but as his account is new, I can't assign a ticket to him as the sale still requires 5+ points. Would you know if at any point (even a day before the game) this restriction will be lifted, or does it stay for 5+ members only the whole time?
Thanks

Other Anybody know if the long sleeves will ever be back in stock?
Hello, haven’t bought a Hearts strip in years but mine’s recently started to fall apart. Just wanted to ask if it would become in stock again or if it’s limited. I would ideally want the long sleeve as it just looks better but no worries if not

Quick ticketing query
Hi all, my sister and I are lifelong hearts fans but haven't been to an in person match in a while. I was hoping to buy tickets to the Falkirk match on 8 Nov, and saw tickets went on sale today at 10 AM. Having just checked the site, it is saying all tickets are sold out. I just wanted to check if tickets are ever released late online or if they have genuinely all sold out in some kind of pre sale etc. Any advice much appreciated, as well as other matches I may have better luck in targeting if they are all gone?

8/11 Falkirk tickets
Tickets were supposed to go on sale at 10am. Is this game genuinely sold out or is this pretty normal for eticketing?
Edit: apparently you can get from the ticket office but online has been delayed until tomorrow.

First Hearts game
What was your first Hearts game? Mine was the 2006 cup final against Gretna I was 4 years old don’t remember any of it! The first I remember was the Dynamo Zagreb Game in 2009 2-0 win. Fell in love straight away and there was no going back from there. Would love to hear your stories.

Motherwell ticket for sale
Can no longer make it due to work commitments. Its a student ticket but says adult on it, doubt you’d have any issues getting in if you arent a student. Happy to take £20 for it.
Collection in Edinburgh or can post if you prefer.

Discussion Tom English is a prick.
Right massive rant.
As a rule I keep away from football coverage after a shit result & performance & the BBC Scottish sport in general. Its the best thing all round. But this morning I had the great misfortune to hear Tom English opine on Vrancken & Hearts.
What a completely insufferable cunt that man is.
He was absolutely joyous in Vranckens Hearts being beaten so heavily. I mean like kid at Christmas giddy.
Going on at length about how "dumb" he is thinking you can go toe to toe with Celtic, especially at Parkhead.
You go there & shut up shop & try to hit on the counter then your criticised for not being brave & Celtic are there to be beaten. You do it & go to be positive, youre criticised.
Apparently it is only acceptable to try & beat Celtic if you're one of the chosen Scortish manager pals they have. Who they can be overly close to & have cheeky banter.
Was yesterday really fucking shite. Yes....yes it was. It was fucking awful.
But English has had this bottled up for months. He was desperate for this to happen. Fucking frothing at the mouth. Couldn't contain himself.
After making a fanny of himself after the Graz & Benfica games & slagging off Vrancken. Then Hearts doing well, making Europe group stage, doing well in the league and him, him the cheif sports writer having to take down his own column.
He was fucking ecstatic yesterday happened.
Im too old to let this get to me. But that man is a has been, dinosaur, boys club weapon. Prick!.
Rant over.
TLDR: Tom English is a bitter Welt.

Discussion Take Care Looking At Kickback On Mobile / Team News?
Weird one this - Was looking there last night on my phone for any kind of team news (really re whether McEntee was going to be fit!) and this weird alert thing popped up on my phone, saying something like "Wiretap has been detected on this android device".
I'm naturally inclined to view anything as a scam, so just closed the browser and rebooted the phone. Everything was fine.
Anyway just went back this morning and the same message pops up!
Not sure what's going on - maybe something embedded in some ads they have running there, don't know... But be careful you don't accidentally click on this and allow it to install anything on your phone.
... And if anyone does know if McEntee is okay for today, that would be great 😃

Barcelona - where can I watch the Hearts game on Sunday
I’m in Barcelona on Sunday, doing a tour at Camp Nou midday then hoping to find somewhere to watch the game. Anyone got any suggestions of a pub that will be showing it?

Interesting info on Thun website
For those Jambos taking the trip over who are maybe concerned they wont have enough points to get in the away end.
It appears we are able to get tickets in the "neutral" sections of the ground. From what I can gather the south stand will house Thun and the north end is where hearts will be. Ive just got a ticket as close to the north end as I possibly could.

Discussion Lineup Predictions V Nordsjaelland
What we thinking then? I think its overwhelmingly likely that we stick to the St Mirren lineup with McEntee for Ageu the only enforced change.
Reus
Altena MFW McCart Milne
McEntee Mendy
Miller Braga McPake
Wilson
That said I think there is also a case to be made for starting Guendouz in the number 10. Mendy and McEntee is not an ideal pairing in terms of attacking output and I think Sabri could really help us to control the midfield when in possession with his tendency to drop deeper and look for the ball. This would mean Braga in the 9 which Vrancken clearly doesn't favour so perhaps not likely. That said, we did start Braga and Guendouz v Sturm and Benfica at Tynie so its not totally out of the question.

Other Ticket for Tomorrow
Does anyone want to purchase a ticket for tomorrow evening? Bought one for a family member and they cannot go now. It was £28 but happy to accept offers.
