I notice how his character starts off playing to the "every man" trope however as the show progresses his character eventually breaks from it. This is where I thought the writers did a fantastic job in terms of Wu.

This is S2 Ep17.

Deep into the Juliette’s amnesia arc, and for a moment there, I enjoyed when its just our favorite characters stopping bad Wesen without Juliette’s bland boring presence and vibes. It shows how nice it would have been without her if they had just written her off. Its my second rewatch after around 10 years and boy did that reignite my hatred towards Juliette.

If you were born into the world of Grimm, what type of Wesen would you or your family be? If you were a Grimm, would you use your abilities to help Wesen or hunt them?

HES SO MY TYPE🫦

That‘s all I have to share.

Inspired by a cute piece of art of a receipt of Stranger Things S1, decided to make one of my favourite show too! I think it turned out quite nicely

Are we supposed to assume that Diana is immune to Grimm blood because Adalind had already ingested it when she conceived?

I get why they didn't test it out, but Kelly implied Diana would become very powerful and dangerous if she wasn't raised correctly. If they just neutralized her powers, there would not have been all these people out to get her, and Kelly could have just left her with Adalind. I doubt the Royals would want her if she was not a hexenbeist. They did not want Sean.

Let me start I really enjoy the show but there are two things that I felt sucked and I am curious which one sucked more.

1. The intro with and without the dialog

Or

1. Juliet in any form

Juliette is the hospital recovering from her coma and Nick is showing her pictures of them to get her to remember. Juliette sees a picture of them on the porch and says they're sitting in front of her house. I've wondered for years whose house it was. Mystery solved.

If there’s any hope for a Grimm movie, even a spin-off with Kelly & Diana, they gotta have their own Wesen-related cases someday

Ex.
- anything involving vampirism with a new type of bat-like Wesen
- any cases involving Wesen based off of outback creatures
- Korean culture Wesen
- Filipino culture Wesen since the Aswang
- Thai culture Wesen

What kind of cases would you see Kelly, Diana and the triplets take on?

As long as one’s a Blutbad, one’s a Fuschbau & the last is both breeds but new.

Can’t even tell of the genders!

manananggal appear to be normal women at night , she detaches from her lower half wall her l.\nOwer half remains planted on the ground , her top half splouts , wings and flies around typically with intestines trailing i typically feed on pregnant women the elderly and the vulnerable they love eating unborn children in particular the lower half is weak to garlic and salt and vinegar if they cannot reattach before sunrise , they would die

What do you think about Nick and Adalind as couple?

In my personal opinion, this relationship feels like it was pulled out of thin air. There was no depth, no real phase of falling in love. By comparison, the relationship between Nick and Juliette felt much more authentic and better.

I'm doing my first full rewatch (I watched the series on TV up until season 3, stopped for some reason, then watched it through again during the pandemic), and there's one thing that guts me more than anything else. That I've been dreading since I started this rewatch.

Juliet burning Aunt Marie's trailer. Literally thousands of years of first hand Grimm knowledge that cannot be reproduced. Stories literally written by hand by long dead Grimm who were plying their trade when Latin was considered the new language on the block and Old High German was a little more than a sparkle in the eyes of some Germanic peasants. It was like the burning of the Library of Alexandria.

Yes, it was obviously a deeply personal loss to Nick and just showed how bitter and twisted Juliet had become and how much she wanted to hurt Nick.

But please! Won't anyone consider the history?!

I've always appreciated a deep, rich lore in fictional universes, and this was just a devastating blow.

When she helps the Grimm Gang with their plan to find Kenneth and puts the head from one of his henchmen in the closet and pretends to find it.

And we get that scream and she really knows how to sell it. We get Nick and Hank to interview her for the case, which is actually how they wanted of course. And again we get a funny Adalind line, “I was about into go labor with all that screaming.”

Another that I can’t forget is when Henrietta reveals that Adalind is pregnant again.

If they made 22 episodes instead of the 13 we got, what would you have liked to have seen them do. They keep the first 13 episodes as they are.

I would have liked to have seen Nick, Hank and Wu, with Renard’s help, could start a new division in the police station for those familiar with Wesen and Grimm. It would also be beneficial to recruit a few more Grimm to train them on when to kill Wesen and understand that not all are inherently evil.

I would have liked to have seen Monroe and Rosalee provide some help in getting the Wesen Council up and running and they could start a Portland branch and talk to the Wesen Lodge in helping it start up. They could collaborate with Nick, Hank and Wu in Portland when there is trouble about to happen, and for legal matters they could turn to Adalind for her help as well.

Additionally, Eve and Trouble could handle tasks beyond police work, such as bounty work for the Wesen Council. Or for the things that Nick, Hank and Wu could do because they are also police officers/detectives.

And the most important thing (just what I think is important) Rosalee finally has the Triplets in the last episode so we get to know if it would be all girls or all boys or a mix of girls and boys.

Things get a little crazy when Jacqueline and Bitsie are together 😆😭❤️ You never know what’s gonna happen next!

I know there’s a lot of Juliette hate, but I’m doing a rewatch ( it’s a comfort show) and Juliette was INCREDIBLY sweet/kind to Wu when he was on his grippy sock vacation. She had the perfect layman’s words for his struggle

The exact opposite of another post I saw (like the other post no big spoilers please)

Claire Coffee reveals that she wasn’t actually invited to the Comic-Con reunion In the clip, she says they only wanted it to be the regulars who have appeared in over 100 episodes But come on, to invite all but her, She was a key role in the show They'd better invite her back for the spinoff/movie

I'm on episode 19 of season 1, watching for the first time, and right now I have SO many questions.

The show just introduced the Verrat and the Laufer, and apparently the Verrat have some kind of connection to captain Renard. Which, by the way, WHY is he looking for the key? Is he a Wesen? Why he just doesn't kill/threaten Nick?

Like, I have so many questions! The show has so much potential to build up its lore, but right now it feels like they're just throwing random stuff into the episodes without explaining much.

Will it all eventually make sense, or am I setting myself up for disappointment?

Can you guys answer that question with as few spoilers as possible, but in a way that keeps me intrigued?

My Personnal Opinion

Powerful. Mysterious. Fascinating. Endearing. 🖤

So I started my rewatch last week. Didn’t post about it, just talked to the hubby while watching.

Aaaaaaand Reddit must be listening to me (or my phone listened and told Reddit 😂) bc all of a sudden I have this sub popping up in my FYP.

But anyway, on my rewatch! Still on season 1 so far.

Did anyone else think the narrated intro was hilarious?
