Hello GOG! I hope everyone is doing well! This time i request on Gog.com based on a suggest from a person comment on my previous post.
Yes, I know what you're thinking: "Why didnt you buy or request Skyrim when it was 90% off during the Steam Autumn Sale?" Fair questions, honestly. I know this isnt the lowest price the game has ever had, but please hear me out. Ive got a rather poor excuse for missing the sale.
I had quite a lot on my plate at university during the Autumn Sale, and I was feeling pretty stressed. I managed to grab Portal for just $1, and that was all. I didnt even have the mental energy to check which other games were on sale, let alone decide what to get. So, yeah, Im sorry that Im only making this request now!
Anyway, onto the actual game! Id like to request The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, a game that has caught my attention because of its enormous world, freedom of exploration, and all the adventures waiting to happen.
Ive always enjoyed RPGs, especially those that let me make my own journey instead of constantly pushing me toward a predetermined storyline. What draws me to Skyrim is the thought of wandering through a world full of ancient ruins, forgotten secrets, dangerous creatures, and people with their own lives and problems. I could set out to complete a quest, get distracted by something interesting along the way, and end up somewhere I never expected to be. Honestly, that reminds me of RLCraft, one of the coolest Minecraft modpacks Ive played (through a pirated launcher, of course, haha).
As a university student, I spend a lot of my time studying and worrying. Games are one of the ways I unwind, although I also love experiences that leave me with something to think about afterward. Ive always appreciated indie games with distinctive artistic identities and thoughtful writing, but after a particularly stressful past month and the emotionally demanding journey I had with Disco Elysium, I think my brain needs a little vacation. This time, Id love a game that lets me breathe, wander around, and enjoy myself without feeling like I constantly need to analyze everything.
One of the things I find most appealing about Skyrim is the freedom to decide what kind of person my character becomes. I want my choices to shape my experience, making the adventure feel like something Ive created for myself rather than someone elses story Im simply following.
Ive watched Skyrim gameplay before, and it has only made me more eager to experience the world firsthand. The idea of exploring, or stumbling upon something completely unexpected sounds wonderful to me. I want to have those adventures without knowing whats waiting around the next corner.
Even though Skyrim has been around for many years, that doesnt make me any less interested in it. If anything, seeing how people are still talking about the game, sharing their experiences, and discovering new ways to enjoy it makes me curious about what has kept it so memorable for so long. Id love to take my time with it, explore at my own pace, and see what kind of stories emerge from my own decisions.
As I mentioned in another request, even though the game isnt particularly expensive compared to some newer releases, Im still a university student without a stable income. Most of my money goes toward my studies and everyday expenses, so buying games isnt always easy for me. Skyrim is something Ive wanted to experience for a while, but I havent quite managed to get my own copy yet.
Im not much of a completionist, so I cant promise to finish every quest, discover every secret, or unlock every achievement. What I can promise is that Id genuinely appreciate the gift and spend time enjoying the world and whatever adventures I happen to find in it.
And of course, if you cant or simply dont want to gift it, thats completely understandable. Im still grateful that youve taken the time to read my request!
Thank you so much for your time and for everything you do for the gaming community. I hope everyone at GOG has a wonderful day, and I wish you all the best!
Im sorry if this attempt sound like my first attempt, im not very good at word.
