Seems to be popular so here is Cowboy Garf

But the black is not simply missig, it's somehow transparent this time, which means the comic is only readable because Reddit has dark background color. ⚫
(And yes, it seems the comic is also lower resolution than normal as well.)

I’ll go first

When I was in elementary school sometimes I had to hang back with my older sister while she got help from her math teacher, I was in about 2nd grade and she was on 6th needless to say I was so incredibly bored just sitting on that classroom floor waiting, so I’d often wander back into the school and sit in the library (and I got in trouble most of the time, I was supposed to stay with my sister and not move) I’d walk down each row just looking for something to distract me when BOOM Garfield. My school had the large compilation books of Garfield, I saw cat, I liked cat, so I rented the book.

Oh boy did I love that cat, I went home to show my mom the “new” book I found, turns out my mom also liked Garfield and she showed me Garfield and Friends.

To this day when I get sick I like to turn in Garfield and friends (im 19) and cuddle up in a blanket with my Garfield plush

A book with some of my fave Garf and Nerm!

(Plus this super cute cat and fish cup)

Originally got em for my truck but unfortunately was too short. I’m selling them on eBay if anyone is interested! Selling for how much I paid for (other listings are $200+) https://ebay.io/m/lp302h

It's a vintage Dakin Garfield that still has it's tag on, but is clearly very dirty. I don't know if this is mold. I really want to clean him but i'm also scared that I'll ruin it.

not mine, repostedd

Been a while since I scanned some calendars! Full collection (including other Garfield calendar scans) up on my flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/daemoncorps/albums/72177720336219556/

I grew up a huge Garfield fan. He was my entire childhood. I also grew up working at carnivals, and prizes like these were HUGE in the 80’s. This hung on the wall by my bed my entire childhood in the original cardboard frame.
I recently was going through some of my childhood things, and decided it was time to frame this properly and display it, as the true treasure it is! I had to frame it with the cardboard frame as well, because that’s part of its charm.
If you weren’t around in the 80’s, prizes like these are just an image on really thin, sharp glass. It makes me wonder how many of these survived because of how fragile they are.
