Show discussion My left foot, my right foot
Am I the only one that felt that this episode was a little unrealistic? As I was rewatching clips of this episode, I kind of questioned some of the things I did. The episode is centered around Michelle and it starts off with the girls going to a shoe store to get new shoes and Michelle needs new sneakers so she gets measured and the store employee says she’s a size 13 now we can assume that she’s a kid size 13 cause there’s no way she’s an adult size 13 there’s no way, plus most adults don’t even get to that size. The employee then says she has really healthy feet and then Steph makes a comment and says that her feet are just big. It leads to Michelle wanting to make her feet smaller and having recurring nightmares about it. What didn’t make sense to me was why they were making all these comments about her feet being big when to be real her being a size 13 at the age she was of about like 8 years old was actually on the small side if not towards average. She wasn’t wearing giant shoes. I could see it being a realistic plot line if she was wearing like a size 4-6 in kids cause that could be seen as big for someone her age but she was still wearing a little kid size 13 that is totally normal if not slightly smaller for someone her age, maybe they are just trying to blow it out of proportion to make it seem more dramatic, but to me it just seemed unrealistic, especially since when I was 8 years old I was probably wearing about a kids 2-3 so I don’t really see why they would’ve made comments about still wearing a shoe size that small. Every kid is different but to me it just seemed weird that they would make all these comments when she wasn’t really wearing shoes that big

Show discussion Jesse should’ve waited a year or two before getting married and settling down
While Jesse is your typical ladies’ man (with the exception of that one girlfriend from high school) and wasn’t too keen on tackling on adult responsibilities, he was rather young when Pam died and he had to become a responsible adult overnight. The death of his sister and its tremendous impact on Danny and the girls forced him to grow up and move in with Danny alongside Joey to help raise the girls.
Grief ages people, often leaves them more vulnerable and causes them to grow up to handle more responsibilities simply because they have to and also because there’s very little to no options available. So in Jesse’s case, he had to put his hobbies and dating (serious relationship) to the side for some time so he could help Danny raise the girls. Jesse and Becky had great chemistry but both had their own share of toxic traits that they needed to take the time to work out. They shouldn’t have rushed so quickly into marriage because of Jesse’s immaturity and should’ve taken their time with dating and enjoying their youth.
That’s why he went skydiving the day of his wedding and became frustrated with Becky when she wasn’t on board with the idea of him going on a year-long international tour once they already had the twins. Children are a huge, lifelong responsibility and Jesse is no stranger to that, so it confuses me as to why he and Becky rushed to get married when they could’ve taken their time to better get to know each other and work out their toxic traits. Or, they could’ve simply broken up and went on to pursue other people long-term.
Additionally, Jesse could’ve learned earlier that his music career was a bust and wasn’t really going anywhere long-term because he actually took their time to pursue it without the conflicting responsibilities of prioritizing his family. While it’s commendable that he and Joey stepped up to help raise the girls, I wish Jesse had taken a year or more off to find himself without rushing into the pressures of having a family because he would’ve matured more and be better off.

Cast discussion The gang reunited for 90s con recently!
instagram.comI just find it heartwarming that they’re still so close even after thirty one years since the show ended. I know Candace and Jodie have had their differences, but I think they truly think of each other as family.

Question First time posting fanfic: a Full House outbreak story, looking for honest feedback
Hi everyone! I just posted the first chapter of my first-ever fanfic, Don’t Breathe on the Coats, and I’d love some honest feedback.
It’s a Full House story, but not the usual kind. Danny Tanner is hosting his morning show when a rumpled public health official goes on air and warns about a mystery respiratory illness that looks harmless until day two. And Danny just remembered the dry cough Joey had that morning. Think Full House’s comedy mixed with outbreak-thriller dread, and a lot of Lysol.
Rated T. Chapter one is on the shorter side, so it’s a quick read:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14595110/1/Don-t-Breathe-on-the-Coats
What I’d especially like to know:
- Does the mix of humor and dread work, or does the tone feel off?
- Does the opening hook you enough to want chapter two?
- Do the characters sound like themselves?
- Anything confusing, slow, or overwritten?

We were robbed of seeing DJ and Kimmy graduate high school on Full House
I'm sure if we had gotten a season 9, their graduation probably would've happened off screen , but if they actually dedicated an episode to it, you just know it would've been titled "Our Very First Graduation."
It's such a shame the show ended when it did because we watched DJ and Kimmy grow up for eight seasons and never got to see them finish high school.

Show discussion For the fans who watched the show for the first time after the show ended, did anyone else find the full theme song jarring?
I grew up watching Full House in syndication so I'm used to the shortened theme song. Whenever I watch an episode with the full opening it just sounds so weird to me lol. I'm so used to the shorter version that hearing all those extra lyrics throws me off.
I know the longer version is the original but the syndicated one is so ingrained in my head that the full version just sounds wrong to me lol. I can't be the only one.
