Rapunzel, Ariel and aurora looking so cute

Hi I'm a princess and the frog artist. Here's some of my art (first two are in progress) but currently on an art haitus but am itching to draw again once the semester is done (and I have a list of ideas ready as well!). I also like to take suggestions for what I should draw next or create next (to add to my list, the first two were suggestions from my insta as well)! Along with that I have a comic project coming up for what I could imagine the Tiana series could've been, so ideas and suggestions would be great for that. Or just meet other people who also deeply love princess and the frog like I do. Or even constructive criticism about my art.

And while not Disney, K-Pop Demon Hunters and Wicked were enormous successes too. Clearly the idea that female centered movies won't do well is complete garbage. And there's also the case of Hexed, which was gonna have a male protagonist before being changed to a female protagonist.

Is it just a Pixar issue, and Disney didn't stop them from canceling the movie for such a ridiculous reason? I know they were also struggling with the story, but the fear of not appealing to boys was also a big reason for the cancelation

And for all the boys out there who don't like princess movies (thankfully I'm not one of them), all I have to say is this-

A picture in time for Halloween. Imagine if you will that Ariel strayed too close to Ursula's lair at one point and Ursula chases her away in the most frightening way possible.

Artwork by Nippy13, and I must say, he captured the scariness of the scene excellently. :) The color adds to the scariness of the scene, and it really brings to mind the scariness of "Bye Sweet Carole," one of his greatest works.

Happy Halloween.

In 2027 , Mattel Is Going To add Belle as the fourth doll from the Disney Princess Manga Collector Dolls.

Belle is SO beautiful!!

(Thingymabobsboutiques)

I love Ariel's sparkly dress and Elsa's winter gown so much

I can't wait for the other princesses other than the current 6 princesses to get their Unicorn Wish look too!

In my opinion I think Tinkerbell would be one of them because I do have this green Jeep diecast

My first thought was Aurora, Merida and Moana. I feel like Mulan might enjoy it if she was camping with just Shang.

I've heard there are some similarities in the trailer, but I didn't look through all of them because I usually like to avoid spoilers before watching a movie, and that includes not watching trailers

While I am excited for the movie and hope it won't be too similar, I also hope people won't be raving about things in the movie that were already done in Dreams Come True and/or A Twist in Time at least nearly two decades earlier (like how Wicked fans love that the stage musical/movie gave the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman backstories not knowing they already had different backstories in the original lore).

I made this AMV in tribute to Tinkerbell and her live action reference model Margaret Kerry. She passed away on June 11th 2026 at the age of 97 in Wilmington North Carolina. I wish my deepest condolences to her family, her friends, and the Tinkerbell fans who are heartbroken by this terrible news.

I went down this rabbit hole when making a post about how Snow White and Sleeping Beauty never got proper sequels, and I had forgotten about this (which I had heard of before). I was gonna just include it in that post but I decided it'd be better to make a new one for it

During Disney's direct-to-video/made for TV sequel era they were working on a CGI animated prequel called The Seven Dwarfs. And apparently "Disney began planning three computer animated sequels to Dwarfs. The films were to follow the title characters' return home to families and friends after the Evil Queen's death in Snow White"!! There's even more about the movie here, and what more I read about the plot details when skimming through it sounded awesome.

If I remember correctly, I was more or less indifferent when I first head about this project, but now hearing what it would've been about alongside its sequels and how positive the studio's reaction was, I'm so mad it was cancelled! I'll never forgive you John Lasseter! And I was already mad at you for cancelling all the other DisneyToon sequels!! I may love Pixar, but that doesn't kill my fury (okay I'm being a bit dramatic now lol)

I really want need DisneyToon Studios to be revived, alongside of all their cancelled movies*, including this one and its sequels! And make sure Mike Disa and Evan Spiliotopoulos are back, as the former left the project because "Disneytoon management changed the prequel to center around how Dopey lost his voice upon witnessing the death of his mother", which he thought was "much too dark and unfitting to the story he had been working on up to that point", although I do think that could also make a good story.

And if said movie was based off of anything which book or other form of literature would you adapt?
