Long time fan & never seen this before, so I was excited to pick it up. Can’t find much info online so no idea if I overpaid 🤷‍♀️

first tattoo 😌

1) my dcfc themed outfit for the twenty one pilots show

2+3) dcfc opening for top! had a lot of fun screaming the lyrics from the top bowl

4) my first tattoo, of course it had to be transatlanticism! my artist did a great job working in a style they dont have experience with

anyone else go to the columbus show? what are y'all's thoughts on the setlist?

Is so damn smooth, hits ya right in the feels only for how heavenly a state to bring it all together. Such a good album thank you death cab!

Now that summers over what were your favorites on the new album?

list of the films that remind me of each track off chords:
president of what - bandwagon
champagne from a paper cup - bodies, rest and motion
pictures in a exhibition - living in oblivion
hindsight - laws of gravity
that’s incentive - ladies and gentlemen the fabulous stains
amputations - gas food lodging
two cars - clerks
line of best fit - the hours and times
this charming man - beautiful thing
tv trays - rapado
new candles - SFW
tomorrow - times square
flustered/hey tomcat - david holzman’s diary
state street residential - mala noche
wait - niagara, niagara
prove my hypotheses - half cocked
song for kelly huckaby - roadkill
army corps of architects - streetwise

I hate guitar snobbery and people that say affordable guitars are shit and shame the people that play them. Ben’s the man. (Note: I’m aware that some Squiers are trash but definitely not all of them)

Hey guys!

Been a Death Cab fan since high school, and they’re my favorite band of all time. In 2019 I was able to afford to go to my first show of theirs in St. Louis MO for the Thank You for Today summer 2019 tour. I wasn’t able to afford the poster for that tour at the time, and have a collection of all the Death Cab shows I’ve been to ever since. I’m hoping that someone either has a copy of that tour poster they’re willing to part with or knows someone who does. It’s a long shot, but I figured I would ask. I’ve been searching for a while and could only find an old listing eBay for one that didn’t appear to sell, but the seller let me know they no longer had it. I’ll attach a picture of it.

Thank you guys for reading!

I signed up for the mailing list, but never got the email with the presale code. Did anyone else get theirs?

Belgian/German project; Ben Gibbard plays some guitar on the album Nothing’s lost (2004).

Really into the closing track Make it mine recently.. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DefOdP2yPLr/?srtk=ZG9nM3MyaG0xOXRt

My soul left my body when I got this email a few minutes ago as I have been waiting for them to come my way, but there isn't a presale code included. It seems that tickets are being sold through something called showpass, which is cool and fine, but I have no idea where to find the presale code.

I could just wait until they actually go on sale but...I'm not normal like that.

Any help is appreciated!!

Just saw the announcement for the Calgary show July 2!! Anyone happen to know the password for presale tickets? I got the notification from bandsintown but no code

I just wanted to know if anyone else got these shirts and if so, how's the quality? I heard the tour merch is known to be thin but I don't know if that extends to all their merch. Don't wanna spend money on a super thin shirt. THANKS!!!!

I haven’t seen a lot of posts but is anyone going? I haven’t seen DCFC since them and Postal Service were in Atlanta so I’m making the trip up

I lost my mom this time last year after seeing Plans live and the song What Sarah Said has just been with me and on days I’m overwhelmed these lyrics really hit me in a way that just makes things a little easier knowing im not alone. But A day or two ago i stumbled on this person playing it on the harp and it’s absolutely amazing. Hope you all enjoy

Remember when I found Transatlanticism at a market stall? Today I found all 3 of these, Something About Airplanes, We Have The Facts AND Narrow Stairs, all for only £10! I’m aiming to collect all of them if I can

Thoughts?

My partner and I are finally getting married after postponing our wedding plans from COVID.

I am looking for an instrumental cover of PASSENGER SEAT but I’m wanting something that has the notes for the lyrics as well not just the standard repetitive music without the vocals.

This is going to be my song to walk down the aisle to and I’d like to find a version without lyrics ideally.

Thank you for any and all recommendations!

Finally finished the studio album!

I’m a huge DCFC fan and same for Twenty One Pilots. Just wanting to see who else in here is going! I’m nervous about missing DCFC due to the massive crowd so planning on showing up around 4. Very excited for this show! I know it’s a show mainly for TOP, but I’m surprised at how little chatter there is in here. I was supposed to see DCFC in St. Louis and had to miss the show due to a family emergency, so very much looking forward to this! I’m also hoping we might get a joint song or two with both artists since Tyler is a huge Deathcab fan.

Any thoughts if the set list will stay the same or change up with the new tour dates added??
