The 5 star reviews all come in batches, gushing, one is just "Consumer". A load of 5 star reviews from Australia and NZ all came at once. And I looked a few people's names up and they are or were sponsored by the brand.

I don't necessarily trust any online reviews of companies, but this seems like they are cooking the books to increase their score which is really disappointing.

Reason I even looked is that they have been messing me about for weeks on a return, and I speak to the same guy who could not give less of a shit if he tried.

Thought it worth a discussion. I much prefer both the look and feel of longer bibs where the gripper goes right down to just above the knee. Ive watched the Nero show on bibs but I have a pair of Darevie bibs which sit quite high and do ride up a moderate amount.

So out of the options, what works?

Looking for winter / autumn long cycling shorts. It is important that the pants do not feel like fur pants. I am also open to good goods from China ( AliExpress) 😇😚

Whose got the best warranty policies for cycling kit? I always buy Outdoor Research for other outdoor gear because their warranty is amazing. Any time anything has failed from OR they replace it with no hassle. Do any cycling brands have a similar unrestricted / lifetime warranty policy?

I have been (too much) a fan of POC stuff, and the idea that it is (was) European, added an extra.

Yesterday I learned that it's already years ago that the company was sold to an global investment company, today a Bahrein of whatever fund. Just like so many others.... :(

Hi all, just wanted to ask if anyone knows of discounts for cold weather gear? I actually live in a good climate area but the mornings still get into the 40s-50s and I need to ride before work. If anyone knows any discounts for bibs and jerseys I’d appreciate it. I have a bunch of Rapha stuff but I lost weight so they won’t fit this season.

I’m so confused, I bought the UC Chroma Bib shorts and I’m really disapointed in the quality. I have worn them on three rides and I have saddle sores each time. I have numerous other brand bib shorts and I’ve never experienced this.

Sad because now I’m in pain, I lost 180 euros (they say I can’t send them back because Ive already worn them) and I thought they looked really good on me. Confused bc everyone online seems positive on them.

Any suggestions for long sleeve merino wool base layers for winter? Seems like one of those items that may be better/more affordable to buy from companies that aren’t cycling specific.

I have noticed my maap bibs are almost getting to the point that people my draft are gonna get a show…
I’ve had them for almost 2 years , and worn on a regular occasion, never abused or worn at a pool or anything like that. Why is this happening? Any way to stop it? Any solutions to implement to extend the life?

For a 300 dollar pair of bibs, I’d expect them to last more than 2 years without wearing like this…

I am uber-practical- too much so. So most of my stuff is either years old, or baggy jerseys from charity rides (love riding for the cause but do not like the baggy jerseys!). Just got sucked in to a Strava coupon and bought 2 new Le Col jerseys… tighter than what I am used to! I am XS in most everything so that is what I got (forgot to check the on-line measurements). Do these fit right? And can you tell, because I do not even know
how to take these selfies without blocking the jersey 🙆🏻‍♀️
