I found some action replay cheats for Mii Plaza and wanted to try them out but it seems that they are made for an earlier update than 5.0 so I uninstalled all the data of the app on the sd card. Now when I start the app it asks me to update and won't let me play without, do i just have to format the 3ds to play without the update or use an earlier firmware or version of the app? Current firmware is latest:11.13.0-45E Thanks for any answers.

Is there any way to backup an entire 3ds, games and all and save it on the sd card? Using a n3ds xl with cfw.

Edit: FIXED! was a CIA problem, not a ds problem

Hi so I recently got myself a 3DS the original 2011 model because it was cheap and I never got a Nintendo console and I really do love the mario and Pokémon games that are exclusive to Nintendo I guess I could use an emulator bit I'd rather just get a ds, I was think about should I Homebrew it ? I'm not sure should I tho is it worth it ? Also is it worth the risk. I have the original 2011 3DS in like fire red colour or whatever it is called it's red and I have not seen like any of them on like YouTube videos so are there's quite rare?

I couldnt belive how many games and themes and apps where already on it, and hes really happy with it, but he cant update anything unless he updates his 3ds and I was wondering if it could ruin the hack/homebrew if I update his 3ds for him? On my new 3ds about 8-12 months ago a few errors started spurting out. It wouldn't let me turn it on and it would have the top screen be dim. After a while it started working but head tracking was gone. I would like to know if there is a fix to it. I sadly can't get the error code as it's long gone now.

I recently installed homebrew and CFW on my N2dsXL. I was wondering if anyone knows of any apps that can adjust/increase my screen color saturation... I love the vivid and rich colors of pokemon but the new games have such dull colors sometimes; if you know any thing please let me know :)

Ok so. If I've put CFW on my 3Ds, should I have to worry about playing games online?

I use a whole bunch of emulators for my 3DS (Old Model No C Stick) and they all crash on a yellow screen when I open them everytime. Is there a fix. I have Homebrew installed but do I need anything else. The emulators I used were Snes9x (didnt work) Virtuanes (Didnt work) and Blargg SNES ( This one made it to the directory and I chose a rom but all that happened when I clicked the rom is it opened them sound would play from the game but no image just gray screen) Can someone help me out here. So I have a new 3ds that is modded. I got a hyrule shield 2ds from a friend. I want to transfer my main account to the 2ds so it won't be modded. Then have my other account on the modded 3ds. When I unlink my nintendo ID from the modded 3ds will it factory reset and remove the mods?

Since the 3DS came out I've dreamed of being able to play Mario 64 in true 3D, however it seems no one at Nintendo has bothered to do this. From what I've read emulation is out of the question. Maybe theres some way to do it by hacking the DS version?

But my other idea came up recently now that Mario 64 has been decompiled successfully into C code. I do have programming experience, but not when it comes to homebrew, and my knowledge of C is pretty limited.

Does anyone know if this might be possible or doable in some way? I'm looking into the basics of 3DS homebrew development right now, and I'm sure I have a long road ahead of me to even get the game into a state that it would run on the 3ds in the first place, let alone figuring out how to add in a second camera for the 3D.

If anyone has any advice or input on this it would be much appreciated.

I am trying to figure out what is a good flashcart to play both gba and nds games on my old 3ds. My o3ds is homebrew version 11.6.0-39u and i’m asking because some of the gba games i installed using the virtual console using cia files does not work so i’m trying to find an alternative way to play both gba and nds without the needs of using cia. any feedback would be nice.
