MSD-001 German Assault MG Gunner by Michael's Special Design (MSD), capturing a split-second of an urban assault charge.

The soldier strides forward through broken brick and rubble in a dynamic lunge. The German steel helmet, field-grey field tunic with rolled-up sleeves, and full leather webbing equipment are all rendered in fine detail. The design of dragging the machine gun forward by its sling closely reproduces the actual assault posture of infantry in combat.

The integral base features a broken wall, weathered timber, and a muddy ground surface, blending the figure seamlessly into the scene. The sculpt focuses on the soldier's tense, solemn expression, avoiding exaggerated or theatrical poses for a strongly realistic atmosphere.

Fabric folds and the layering of the equipment are clearly defined, and the paintwork effectively conveys fading, mud staining, and metallic weathering. Ideal for an Eastern Front Stalingrad urban combat diorama, it works well as the centerpiece of a squad, making it an excellent choice for WWII German figure collectors.
