T1 can pick Kalista into Nasus because Peyz is the best Kalista player in the world so he don’t give a shit

u/Snomankid999 Jul 06 '26
Riot has to be thrilled with All T1 Games at MSI
It pretty much been T1 and friends invitational

Fed Aurora walks into Varus to get r’ed and one shot 😔
1
u/FreeJudgment Jul 06 '26
yeah the Blight stacks detonation of an AP Varus has to be respected but he didnt (twice, in the previous dragon fight too).
1
u/RukiMotomiya Jul 06 '26
(Also Guigo really messed up that Gnar at the end)
1
u/Rawdream Jul 06 '26
Guigo's target was Kalista, Peyz flashed, if not, Faker & Peyz had gotten stunned
near Tatu and into the range of JoJo & Ayu.
Only Faker got stunned.

i really dont care what the solo q stats are, senna is a mosquito at all points in the game, her damage is always behind curve because of her utility + her scaling, not to mention shiv/cleaver, as well.
2
u/Thundermelons GALA Defense Force, returning IG fan Jul 06 '26
I played an ARAM yesterday where I felt like our Senna was really getting in there, autoing, not being afraid to step up, etc...get to the post-game scorecard, 24k damage. In like a 30 minute ARAM.
I don't even think the player was bad, champ just does nothing unless you get 200 stacks somehow. (Then it's Hitler, which is insane to me. Riot really needs to make this champ less polarizing with the soul stacking, like they did with Smolder.)

u/RukiMotomiya Jul 06 '26
Aaaaand T1's macro splits Furia up and they win. Yeah lol.
T1 needs to clean that up before getting to other teams.

this is the same game as dns vs t1 last year where dns had an omega late game comp but t1 won anyways

u/RukiMotomiya Jul 06 '26
3/6/5 Doran, 1/3/5 Faker, 0/7/13 Keria, these are some SoloQ statlines. Same with 2/5/16 Ayu.
2
2
u/downorwhaet Jul 06 '26
I don’t see how T1s comp gets by nasus but they will probably do something weird and it will work as usual

u/zerocxro Jul 06 '26
i rlly hope FURIA manage to close this game out, would be such an insane confidence jump for this team
1
2
u/michaeltheki21 Jul 06 '26
How is Faker the worst Aurora player in the world while also getting completely gapped by her every time.
4
u/KeyProposal9508 Jul 06 '26
the two are probably related.. being bad/good at a champ definitely affects how you deal when vsing them
2
1
u/Past-Firefighter2173 Jul 06 '26
I wonder if this Furia beats KC, TL or TES. I think maybe TL beats them but for rest Furia looks like stronger.
1
u/GeneralZhukov Jul 06 '26
T1 this is not helping me feel confident about BLG's changes against HLE can you lock in or smth

3
u/Saephon Jul 06 '26
People will somehow memoryhole why Brazil being up in kills and even in gold vs T1 at 27 minutes is normal actually. Fuck league fans lol.

u/devor110 Jul 06 '26
do pros undervalue renata's level scaling?
explicitly, her R. The berserk duration is 1.25/1.75/2.25, 1.25 is fairly short, especially with tenacity, but 1.75 is the same as seraphine R and 2.25 is very long. plus it also scales with nasus and senna dps
1
u/EzraJesse Jul 06 '26
When is a Renata lvl 16?
1
u/devor110 Jul 06 '26
well, never, maybe minute 70
but i think leeching exp to accelerate her 11 spike is good

u/Choice-Slight caps/knight Jul 06 '26
the annoying thing with this is I feel like T1 don't learn when they win with dogshit drafts, because they won
1
u/Rawdream Jul 06 '26
Certainly they have the skill to win in different conditions, but they're simply arrogant. In 2018, SKT were doing similar things, but not winning.

no major region is going to get "reality checked" by fucking Brazil, lil' bro.
This is the on-stage equivalent of scrims so why wouldnt they go full circus? there is nothing to learn from FURIA except limit-testing.

its so annoying to watch, they need to get reality checked
lil' bro triggered by watching pointless games expecting T1 to play like a world finals LMAO
I understood your shit argument clearly: you are fighting the demons in your own head, lil' gup. Nobody cares except you.

This is the most clown fiesta game T1 has played this year LOL
Not only is their draft absolute garbage, they are playing like it’s solo queue.

u/WalkAwayFromScreen Jul 06 '26
This Nasus is nearly unkillable 🤣 and the Aurora one shots the entire team, if Furia play remotely well and protects Senna they win this
Edit: it’s joever
1
u/throwaway_bhop Jul 06 '26
can nasus start withering kalista or varus and not the taliyah vi or renata

u/Ythapa Jul 06 '26
Brazil introducing the East to Jungle Nasus early.
G2/Lyon probably would have preferred to keep it hidden in the pocket a little longer, but the cat's out of the bag now.
3
u/thegloriousdefense Jul 06 '26
I'm sure the East is already well-aware considering G2 and Fly have already pulled it off in playoffs.
3
u/Snowmean2 Jul 06 '26
T1 was already playing Nasus jngl in soloq so its not new for them, prob scrimmed g2

Both. Faker is good, but that clip was 100% Guigo playing with his eyes closed.

u/downorwhaet Jul 06 '26
Nasus hard counters both kalista and varus this game, Taliyah somehow needs to kill him
3
2
u/WalkAwayFromScreen Jul 06 '26
T1’s comp is complete ass by the way, they win this anyway because team diff, but still they need to fix their drafting this tournament
1
u/Kadde- Jul 06 '26
So like how does T1 win here if it goes to late game? Furia has better scaling and teamfighting

Peyz it too OP. If enemy adc can't match him you simply can't beat T1.

T1 has been very sloppy with their prep when it comes to dives this game. They took too long on the dive on bot and got spotted by wards so they got caught out. At the red buff they didn't respect that gnar could collapse on them

From a neutral perspective? Yes.
With the idea of the teams? I don't trust Furia's macro not to fall apart as the game calls get more complex.

It is interesting people saying Oner being bad, but Inspired even though he ranked Kanavi as his top jungler at MSI said he was most impressed by Oner. He said it is easy to jungle when Bin/Knight and Zeus/Zeka are just crushing everyone in lane, but Doran/Faker while having their own strengths have been weaker in lane
2
u/Rawdream Jul 06 '26
It's true that when your lanes are winning, it's easier to perform as a JG, but in the case of Xun, he does an extra, he looks for plays, his pathing is good, he enables the lanes and plays for them.
Kanavi just goes in and his team can clean up even if he messes up, as he usually does. Vs FUR, JG wasn't a reason why HLE won, unlike what it happens with other teams in this JG/Supp meta since Split 1.
2
u/OskarVon Jul 06 '26
You can say he is messing up, but I was watching interviews and it seems a lot of junglers at MSI ranked Kanavi as the best and say he is very unpredictable and hard to play against
4
u/GeneralZhukov Jul 06 '26
Jg is always interesting to talk about.
I've sort of been tuned out this game bc I got kinda bored, but i've seen some people talk abt Oner not getting first drake.
Imo, I don't think teams agree on first drake value.
Some teams prio it, and yea it does make sense in a lot of situations. But also, there are plenty of times where first drake seems kind of like bait. You need to properly set up vision, you need help so it doesn't take your jungler three hours to kill it. You're not farming camps, you're not farming lanes. You're giving up gold for the soul stack.
But then, the team that gets the gold will often times just use the gold to.....stat check the team that got first drake and either close it out, or end up getting the next 2 to 3 drakes anyway.
There's the disaster situation where you trade first drake for gold, screw up the skirmishes, lose second drake, lose a smite fight third drake, then you're staring at soul point, but you can't gameplan under the assumption that you're gonna poop your pants in game.
1
u/Kokaiinum Jul 06 '26
In a vacuum that's true, but outside of Doran just walking into tower range once, him and Faker have hardly struggled in lane this series.
7
u/ThisOneTimeAtLolCamp Jul 06 '26
Twitch chat: Doran didn't dodge anything!
Replay: Shows slow motion of Doran dodging everything.

Horrendous gameplay from Guigo
4
u/Kokaiinum Jul 06 '26
The type of gameplay where you can tell he considered killing Doran a totally foregone conclusion so he felt safe to just throw spells out whenever
3
u/MoscaMosquete FuryhOrnn when? Jul 06 '26
I think he might just be Doran's childhood friend, it seemed like he really didn't want to hurt him

u/Kokaiinum Jul 06 '26
T1 with the casual 1k gold lead at 5 minutes from pure laning advantages
Do you think Furia know they're already at such a deficit?
1
u/Rawdream Jul 06 '26
CS and plates should let you know that.
Those leads aren't relevant, unless your win condition got shutdown or the other's team win condition got fed, so you won't be capable to do anything in mid and late game.

2
u/2020isgreat TheShy Jul 06 '26
I really think Doran should run it down a few times to give T1 a realistic game experience

Tank top/Enchanter+hyper bot meta: BORING snooze fest. Afk farm til 45 minutes. Literally nobody but the ADC even matters. Riot fix your fucking game.
Assassin mid meta: Mid laner roams and picks up kills for free. Everyone dies in 2 seconds. Literally just zoomerbait bullshit. 0 Strategy 0 Macro, just faceroll QWER and penta. Riot is RUINING their game to attract fortnite players instead of catering to their dedicated fans.
ADC mid meta: BORING snooze fest. Afk farm til 45 minutes. Riot fix your fucking game. Imagine having to see CHOVY and FAKER play pve for 45 minutes.
Splitpush/carry top meta: Lol 0/10 Camille jumps on a carry and oneshots them. Why even try. Literal tank assassin carry with CC. No teamfights, no decision making. Whoever gets FB top wins the game.
Mage bot: Scroll down a bit.
"Goomba fallacy"
Actually, correct. That's part of my point. Every meta has fans, every meta has haters. The whiners are just louder. No meta is universally beloved. Stop acting like you know how to solve the game, because when you were enjoying the meta, I mean, I'm sure you remember the people complaining too. Been following competitive league for a decade and I've literally never seen a meta that nobody on reddit complained about.
2
u/british_pubs Swimin' with the fishies Jul 06 '26
Man I'm sad Furia is gonna go out 0-6 because riot refuses to seed regions correctly, put them into the play-ins and we get to see them be actually competitive
→ More replies (1)1
u/shoeclowns Jul 06 '26
This exactly dude I don't know why they can't just admit regions are not equal.
Also NA is over represented by percentage of teams in their region... Just saying.

2
u/shoeclowns Jul 06 '26
They really should. Maybe even use it as a way to introduce promotion/demotion again for those 2 slots that don't exist currently. NA desperately needs to invest in infrastructure and talent development as of, well, a long time ago but better late than never.
